Verse 1-4: Paul warns the Corinthians that he will not spare them when he visits again. He urges them to examine themselves and ensure they are truly following Christ. He asserts his authority as an apostle and emphasizes that Christ's power works through him.
Verse 5-10: Paul instructs the Corinthians to test themselves to see if they are living in faith and to ensure that Christ is within them. He expresses his hope that they will live rightly, even though he may have to discipline them. He prays that they will grow stronger in their faith and encourages them to live in peace.
Verse 11-14: Paul concludes his letter with final greetings and encouragement. He urges the Corinthians to aim for perfection, to be of one mind, to live in peace, and to greet one another with a holy kiss. He prays for the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit to be with them all.
