As a London Bus Driver you are not allowed to use any electronic devices while driving. That includes earphones, handsfree and radio. When you start working as a bus driver you receive up to 2 weeks route learning, most of the times is less than 5 days. In that time you must learn anywhere from 2 to 6 bus routes on average is 3. After this to learn the other bus routes you must do so at your day off, then call the CDM or Allocation so you get paid for that day off. This month I will make a video, explaining what it means to be a bus driver in London and what are the differences between London bus driver and all the other bus/lorry drivers on the legislation.
If your planning to be a bus driver, I would recommend trying to join a garage which is local to you. Therefore, you are more familiar with the routes and the roads and the area in general.
@@adeletugwell1830 TLDR: Because I can. So one of the company driving instructors recommended I apply and the company told me to apply while they have a nice contract offer. The real question is "why are you not driving buses to help other people to travel"?

When driving a bus, do you have to rely on a navigation software or you can remember it off by heart? So basically what do you do to know the routes?
