Happy Birthday Billy Graham. Before I placed my in Jesus Christ, my Mom used to listen to his messages on TV. After coming to faith in Jesus, I remember listening to Billy preaching to Gospel. The Lord allowed me he him in Kansas City once. Thank You Lord for allowing Billy stay true to the Gospel.

God do not prefer a preacher man over you, preacher men figured out how to market god. You can know God and be close to him without giving a preacher a dime. Nobody should have to give you anything to spread the word of god. If you feel the need to help the poorest, please do so, for they are in dire need of medicine, food and water.

Dr. Billy Graham was someone I heard a lot of growing up. I heard his sermons, later had the privilege of helping in a crusade after Rev. Franklin Graham had started to preach the crusades..
I was brought up in church & was saved at the age of 10.
Dr. Graham taught the true Word of God.
He didn't try to fill up his messages with "feel good about yourself etc" fluff. He spoke what the Bible says without apology & basic so everyone could understand. A man of compassion who allowed God to use him as a vessel.
I'm sad that Dr. Graham has departed from us but I'm so happy for him!!
He's with our Savior Jesus that he's always talked about!

When I was about 10 years old my Mother took my Late Sister La-verne and I to see Rev.Billy Graham...we we're brought up in the Church.....but as I get ready to turn 65yrs young March 2018 I still remember that day as if it was yesterday.....as we walked to give our lives again to our Lord and Savior.....almost 55 year ago.....and I have never forgotten the moment in my life.....praise be to GOD. Dr. Graham, I thank you for a life well lived, such an beautiful example of love and devotion to our Lord & Savior, Jesus Christ. You have shown us the path we must take, to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. I can remember my parents and grandparents watching all of your televised crusades, from the time I was a toddler. Reverend Graham, God bless you and your family! My Dad would have been 100 years old 3-15-17. He was a quiet, good, loving Christian man. He died at age 56, we buried him on my 19th birthday. (1973) We- my family- used to watch you and your crusades on tv when I was young. You always said something at the end of every crusade. You'd say, " it doesn't matter where you are, at home, or even in a bar, Jesus loves you and died so you could have eternal life." My dad drank as a young man, I never knew that man! Daddy would say I'm not impressed by the presidents, Rev. Graham knows and hangs around with!" "I'm impressed that he is truly trying to reach the lost!" Thank you.

I awoke this morning to hear that he had passed.
I am sad for my own selfish reasons, as his preaching has giving me eternal salvation. But I am truly happy, that he is finally home with our Lord and Savior. Thank you Billy for your life long service in the Lords army, while bringing millions and millions to Christ.
In my opinion there has never have been a greater evangelist, since Apostle Paul. As a member of BGEA, I pray the Franklin will continue to lead as he has done, in your footsteps.

Steve Stone: I think you are being a bit too legalistic on that point and that we should rest one day a week regardless of which day. The way things are set up now we have two days off for those who work Monday to Friday in many lines of work. But even Seventh Day Adventists may need to work on the Saturday Sabbath if they go into the essential services such as Medicine, Fire and Police.
