Try using a damp sponge when working on a finer finish with your mud.

Just a thought. You might try using a sponge (slightly damp) to get a smoother finish after it sets up a bit. Great job. Peace.
Good morning, love your building adventures and learning from your adventure, when you use blocks wet them before putting concrete in or on them so it doesn’t pull the moisture out of the concrete, you can see it in the video. Love your work boots today keep wearing them it will drive the safety freaks crazy 😂

What type of vehicle do you have? And does it run on gas or natural gas or propane?
I'm pretty sure this upper part between the pillars will fall apart at a storm. You shall put some screws into the aluminum profiles. When you sliding timber between the pillars it will act like a sail and it seems to be windy at your place.

@@pedroalexnoelia youre not stupid at all. i watch over 100 stone builds in portugal alone and the rest scattered across the world. i assumed it was portugal when i stated watching a year and a half ago but the accent was a little different. ive never been to this part of the world but it does remind me of portugal, though. very rocky soil and fertile land.

oh, you dont have plastic grocery bags either. when i was growing up i remember there was a ban on using paper bags-save the trees, save the environment. then we went to plastic across the board. today, its back to paper bags. im soo confused because dont we care about the trees and the environment anymore?
martina, here in the US there is something called 'christmas in july'. its more for the commercialization of chrismas, i gather. so you can start shopping for christmas/get good deals and such and recover from all that spending from 5 months ago. so i literrally celebrate chrismas in the month of july cause its 31 days and i can play chrismas music and other things christmas related. the real christmas is only one day and i dont really do anything then but travel. so cheers to you and those twinkle lights. me gusta!❄🌨☃⛄⛄
