- Is this the worst golf ever Rory is back on the golf course for the latest Mark Crossfield course vlog. The Muppets are playing Best Western The Dartmouth Hotel, Golf and Spa in the beautiful countryside of Devon in England. Lockdown 3 has finally finished and golf is open again. Will the boys be producing the worst golf ever or will they up the game on their returns. Great to see you guys back. Thanks for being willing to share this. Shows that indoor training just doesn’t prepare you for getting around the course. Mark looked a bit lost “dropping from shoulder high”. You’ll all be back on track in no time. Looking forward to seeing you guys play some great golf this year.

The 4th hole should be called "Buzza" , how he made eagle here long long time ago was insane.

@@paulmcgee1867 Steve Buzza is a pro currently living in the US, has his own youtube-channel as well. He showed up on some legendary course vlogs over the years (in both negative and positive ways XD), and had an absolute beast of an eagle on one of the tightest holes around. Considering tight courses was not typically his strongest point, it was pretty epic :)
That three wood he hit over the trees was glorious.

It’s made me feel a lot better as I was distinctly average on my return (I think I’d watched too much TH-cam instruction over the lock down my head was so full of ideas I forget how to hit the ball )

Gotta simulate how you’d play. Same with hitting the range. I imagine different courses and scenarios while I practice. It gives you more to pull from. Even so, some days just don’t go your way 😂

I feel your pain Ray. I’m off 12 and carded 98, 100 & 101 my last three rounds. Needless to say, I currently have an exclamation next to my Index. To make things worse, my group played this very game off my handicap and I had to pay out.
All of a sudden I feel very happy with my start back to golf. Wow 😳

Watched this yesterday and was thinking " why would anyone listen to these guys on how to play ", at least most of us can find the fairway occasionally. Do generally enjoy the videos, bright side is that I feel much better about my game.

Mark made a 9 haha. I reckon finding the wrong ball then playing it for 4 shots before calling it as the wrong ball was a crack up. Reminds of the campaigns where the joke was how boxes of chromesoft balls had coach packed, yet Mark has run out of the yellow ZStar’s.

I think one thing that would help Ray (and everyone else taking time off and coming back) would be feeling out impact position before each swing. If you can feel impact position you can adjust face angle/grip and ensure you don’t cast and hit it fat. The swing you come back with may very well be different than you left with. Reaching a good impact position with a square face takes care of a lot issues and changes.
