For a first time in front if the camera, i think you did an excellent job reviewing this csr, the most convincing review, and i have watched all of the other "more experienced" " car-enthusiast" channels... Excellent work here ! I wouldn't mind seein or hearing you more in front of the camera.
Great review especially since it's your first time in front of the camera. I don't watch this channel much only for a specific cars, But your narration keeps me hooked and interested and engaged Great job.
Great coverage. I notice everyone keeps referring to the R-Wing as a downforce enhancer. A 5700+ lb vehicle doesn't need any help sticking to the ground. The R-Wing is an electric range efficency enhancer, or airflow neutralizer, that helps reduce front end mass, (allowing the air to more easily flow over the car) while still allowing the car to maintain its design aesthetic of the 1968 Charger. I truly love what Dodge was able to pull together with this vehicle. Im a current Challenger owner and lifelong fan but still can commend this effort! It sucks having to go first in any arena but to do it like this, you really can't fault them. Most of those complaining really don't understand the laws and policies that govern the industry. This new Charger is the embodiment of "Adapt and Overcome"!. I love it and plan on owning one as soon as I'm able to.
Ive seen and heard a few of these driving near Detroit. They look amazing and you can really feel the vibrations from the sounds. I dont like dodge vehicles typically, but this one i can get behind.
I like the shot composition at 2:05. Really cool that KBB’s second string production crew can jump onto the field and rack up wins like this. Mike Danger found his comfort zone quickly after a few videos and I hope Tyler gets the same opportunity in the future.
I think this is pretty cool. Went from a 16 Camaro SS to a Tesla model 3 to a Ford F-150 lightning. Love all three cars and love a good V8 and a good EV. If I had this car I would turn off the fake engine noise though.
Agreed. Then, if we throw in Trump's 25% tariffs since it's imported from Canada, those prices jump to $75K and $94K. I don't expect to be seeing many of these on the roads.
Ah, it's like having a Model T that emits horse sounds. Great opening shot. You can really see how terrible the new one looks compared to the old one. Of note: there hasn't been a big block V8 in decades. Small blocks? Yes.
why didn't they show this styling sooner like when ford did with the mustang. It looks really good but they should have done this design sooner rather than later. don't like the EV but I like the styling of the new Challenger. Hopefully with the resignation of the CEO maybe they will make an ICE version of this also!!!
Dodge charger/challenger purists don’t understand that the muscle car sector is not a profitable market and that companies need to adapt to the majority of the market
Every time an insecure male complains about EVs in the comments another thousand are sold. Go ahead and respond with your tears. I won't read them. Clowning aside, I dig it, I just think it's overpriced. A base model muscle car is supposed to be relatively cheap.
I think this car is beautiful, but I’m not sure if it has a market as the styling might appeal more to people who want a gas car. Car and driver says this is 206 inches long which is like nine inches longer than the 3 row SUV Kia EV 9. I like that it has a hatch, but they really need a lever to flip the seats down in the back.
so why bother calling it the charger if its..... not a charger.... why do we keep doing this?!?!?! and why do people keep buying these and allowing companies to get away with it?!?!?!.... @Dodge just name it something else and let it be

Same saw and heard one on 75 and tbh I like it more than the outgoing model
Modern day KITT
Closest thing to KITT sadly no voice

500 HP never looked so slow until now in the R/T model lol
Kudos to Dodge for making a great looking EV, rather than the usual Duck-billed lot.
Great review, keep my attention throughout.
Great drone shots. More of those pls!
You did a great job reviewing, even though you never get intront of the camera! Wanted to make sure you got that praise :)

So expensive 🤦🏽♂️
It's cheaper than the Scat-Pak by about 10k and more practical with a liftback.
It cheaper than the gasoline hell cat
Agreed. Then, if we throw in Trump's 25% tariffs since it's imported from Canada, those prices jump to $75K and $94K. I don't expect to be seeing many of these on the roads.
So heavy…
T. Mark the legend 🙌 Excellent VO!
Nice video and well put together! Hope to see more of you in front of the camera……
My only real complaint is that crappy line of haptic controls.. its a "muscle car". Give it buttons.
I actually think it looks nice. I give it a (B-) rating. Price a (C). 💯
Great review. Your editing is awesome, but please continue to review from time to time.
I’m not a dodge fan. This car is beautiful. I have a Mach e. This will be on my next list. ❤
I think the better play for an electrified muscle car would be making it a PHEV with a meaty ICE exhaust.
This Charger looks like it came before the preivous gasoline Charger.
Looks great 👍
Can I get one with jet engine noise or Vaders Tie fighter sound ?
More Tyler!
How long before someone hacks the engine sound, and makes it better???
It is great you came from behind the scenes. But you didn't tell us about the range and the battery capacity.😂
NACS charging?
Even if it did have NACS, Dodge doesn’t have a Supercharger agreement with Tesla.
Remind me the reason I dislike big magazines/corporate review. It's more like a commercial for manufacturers.
They will sell a lot of them and they will be everywhere no matter what people say or what they think. Thanks for your opinion, but it doesn’t matter.
Looks like the A team at KBB was so ashamed to review this contraption so they send the C Team!
This is not a muscle car. This is a high performance EV. Nothing wrong with that but don't pee on my shoes and tell me it's raining!
What's the definition of a muscle car?
Bros everywhere are having an identity crisis lol
I'm waiting for the ev power soler panel and powered mini van with real engine sound 😂
The EV car that nobody asked for, that nobody wants. This should end well. RIP
I keep seeing these near chrysler factory in windsor. It looks better in person.
Im waiting for the Chrysler version of this car. This is a electric car I would buy over the station wagons coming from Chevrolet and the Tesla
If it wasn't crazy priced, I'd drive it.
I'll wait for the Ice version to come out
Ah, it's like having a Model T that emits horse sounds.
Great opening shot. You can really see how terrible the new one looks compared to the old one.
Of note: there hasn't been a big block V8 in decades. Small blocks? Yes.
So sad, Dodge's days are numbered
The troglodytes that buy chargers will keep it alive for a while. But other EVs will cook this car with what they are experimenting with.
@@brokeboy87 What a pleb...
They're not going anywhere
A glass panel roof that large should offer solar power.
Dodge has changed their logo so many times it's odd.
Electric or V-8 engine option means compromized trade offs. The car is not optimized for one technology..
How the mighty has fallen
What do you mean?
@@BudgetGamerz he means they were great before but now they are not

From some angles it looks good, from some it's not good. Looks too narrow as well. Oh, and have I mentioned the EV powertrain yet?
I think it's a sharp looking car, but I have zero faith in the reliability of anything from Stellantis.
Agreed, especially their electrical systems have been known to be prone to failure, so why would we trust a car that is one big electrical system???
I wonder what one of these 5k pounders will look like wrapped around an old oak tree? Break out the yellow ribbons folks!
It looks 5 years old already
Looks like the Polstar 2 Challenger 😆😆😆
Fake motor noise makes this a hard pass
Then you have to wait for the Hurricane Inline 6 to be available.
Let me know how this works in good old Detroit winters Dodge!
60k !?
Naaaaa car market is ass
More attractive than the 4dr Charger.
It should have a 1969 C pillar or something similar to it.
I like it
I like the design....that's it, that's the comment.
We don’t need a electric cars and look nice a car
Love the exterior but I cannot with the chintzy loose panels interior. 35k max
Anyone else think we're putting too much HP In EVs these days?
What are the paddles on the steering wheel? Isn't this an EV car?
It's not the only EV with paddles. th-cam.com/video/Axgcc-RjbJk/w-d-xo.html
@@donwilber1628 Thanks for the clarification.
Good early review/first drive.
2 words: STE LANTIS!
No thank you.
What do you mean by "all-electric muscle car"?
Should've had concealed headlights 😀
Dodge charger/challenger purists don’t understand that the muscle car sector is not a profitable market and that companies need to adapt to the majority of the market
They never will understand they're still stuck in 2016 .... 😂😂😂
Yeah, but how does it look on the back of a tow truck? That's where these cars will spend most of their lives.
They’ll be filling dealer lots and staying where they park
Every time an insecure male complains about EVs in the comments another thousand are sold. Go ahead and respond with your tears. I won't read them.
Clowning aside, I dig it, I just think it's overpriced. A base model muscle car is supposed to be relatively cheap.
Uh… isn’t this 2025? What’s with the 2024 graphics?
galloping horses lmao more like the fresh smell of horseSt
It's so early everyone here with me in the comments section are bots
😅
Um, not everyone lives in your timezone
Doesn't look too bad but they should still use V8
These will languish on dealer lots, with piles of cash on the hood.
If I was forced to get a toaster oven car I’d entertain this bc it does look good
Great video, and nice job Tyler for not usually being in front of the camera! (Hopefully Mike is okay though)
It looks like an old camera … and a squished last gen challenger…. Kinda bad
This is $20k more than a Tesla Model 3 Performance??? Who in their right mind will buy this? It looks good, but not that good.
A car nobody asked for.
Another motorhead who hates EVs, I'll take this review with a grain of salt.
Does the charger come with a ….charger? Those doorcards are ugly but the rest is good.
You lost me at "gliding around corners" lol
I think outside of the exhaust the worst part about this whole thing is you can’t do a burnout that’s just diabolical
This was a big miss they should have made it the fastest electric car but they didn't.
So basically fake dodge charger but still a charger 💀
This dude so much better than Danger
I guess...
They don't really have any good reviewers on this channel. I don't think they understand how youtube works.
I think this car is beautiful, but I’m not sure if it has a market as the styling might appeal more to people who want a gas car. Im sorry the challenger is more appealing

Pass!
No person with any common sense will purchase this EV. This waisted endeavor is criminal at best.
75k. Who is buying this stuff?
WTF
Well over priced; and wonder why financially they wre having issues.
Tack on another 25% tariff as well. Only thing good about is it's a hatch.
What's to dislike about the car? Other than the price?
At least it looks cool. Other than that, it isn’t that great of a car with only mediocre EV specs.
I will rather get a used gt500
Interior is disgustingly cheap for car that's 60k at the barebone plastic entry level.
Cool but heavy
nice!
