When the transition from sea to land happens it seems to get pitch dark for a few seconds and then the violent animal sounds start. Was it really totally dark and how did that feel?
I was getting really worried with that one! Just shows how authentic and visceral music can be for you when it literally makes you reach for the heart meds. And TGSOE is an absolute masterpiece.
Do you remember all those tears you shed when you reacted to dead boys poem and poet and the pendulum? This song is proof that Toumas is no longer in that place he's content, happy even more importantly he's inspired by life and we all benefit from it
As always loved your reaction. Floor just did a solo performance in Amsterdam, as side artist leading up to a full Metallica concert. She performed alone in front of 50.000 people and just hit it out of the ballpark. As she exited after her performance she got a standing applause... It definitely shook her to the core....we all love her so much.❤

Great to see you did both Tempere and Wembley. Both are so good and the best version for me would be a mix from the best parts of them both. I hope you will give yourself the time to see the rest of the Wembley version, because in the end is the gem of Wembley and I'm so sorry that you missed that part.
on this version, the director added in some shots of Troy singing....he did in the Tampere version, but a first time watcher wouldn't have noticed it, due to the quickness of the shots......to hear something on a similar vein, watch the lyric video of "Harvest" from the Human/Nature album...Troy singing lead, with Marko and Floor adding harmonies....there haven't been any live performances of this one (at least, nothing posted)...many Nightwish fans dislike it, but it's well worth listening to.....
On the live versions, there is a deep voice, is that the bass player, Jukka? Tuomas using his voice already, I'm sure he wouldn't miss the opportunity!

Nightwish Army south Brittany France reporting. Last Friday my father was cremated, he was old and his passing easnt unexpected. I talked about my memories of my dad, but finished it with Richard Dawkins, unweaving the rainbow, " we are going to die... Damn Debbie you missed why Wembley was different, Dawkins coming onto the stage, now you got to do it again.
I am a total Nightwish/Floor fan, but GSOE is well down on my list of favourites and I would not normally hear this twice in two days. On the other hand I am a Debbie fan and a ‘double dose‘ of GSOE AND Debbie cannot be missed.

(More than happy to be corrected on that though) so 25,00 was probably about right? Wembley stadium holds possibly 75,000+ for concerts? Happy you took your meds.......but..........you should go back and finish this video, there’s a surprise waiting at the end that is very much worth seeing!
You should look at your video settings. As with the Tampere version, the top of the screen is cropped. It looks as if you need to change the format as your inset screen looks overly wide and therefore lacking the full vertical extension.

Thanks for doing Wembley. I really prefer this over Tampere, and I am a Finn. The intro with e-bow is so much better. The extra long keyboard section in Tampere is boring. As for Dawkins, it is a once in a lifetime event. Beats a few fireworks any time.
