- In today's video I weld the diff on my cheap miata, install the ultimate budget coilovers, weld my spindles for more angle and break some stuff. We go race/drift in Mexico and get pulled over by the coolest cop ever!

Going be honest with you. Welding your diff is not that good if your trying to have good handling and cornering. But since this a drift car I'm not complaining that much.
By the way you should do some more filming with the goonzsquad that is another channel I watch alot

There’s a few cops like that here in Kentucky as well, 2 of them are my drinkin’ buddies. 👌🏻 They’re super rad and laid back 👍🏻

I don't live far from his area and most of the cops there are more laid back and will give you a warning.

Next time put a pry bar between the diff and axle shaft.. and kinda give it a quick pop motion and it should come out easier. Can even hammer the pry bar in a little to act as a wedge if your careful
I use an old skool slide hammer that probably was made as a bead breaker in the 70s, kinda like a reverse slide hammer but works awesome to get axle shafts out. Good ol prybar will do it every time tho! Just careful where ya pry against, don't wanna crack the diff casing tho

Nice glad you like the welded diff I hated mine put the torsen lsd in it absolutely love it now and I can still do donuts whenever I want but no bouncing in the tight turns

Good job man,it may not have been easy but,you got it done. Maybe you'll be fortunate enough to get yourself a lift in the near future to make things a little easier on yourself. Changing the color of the rims to black was a good choice,it's amazing what a little bit of fresh paint can can do,as you said yourself. I'm liking the build so far and I'm looking forward to watching this thing progress.

Vasily Builds hey man one word of advice is that you need a roll cage before the turbo. I can tell the way your driving that it will be the smartest mod you can do. I like the car stuff. I watch ricer miata and I know what these cars are capable of. I just want you to be careful and don't take peer pressure to much

Love the car! But i have to ask, what parking lot was that where you did the first donuts? In the big picture it's harmless, but not really the most considerate thing to leave tire marks all over private property.

You need to build a custom exhaust for that thing and put a sports steering wheel and quick release boss kit then one day like you said a turbo for shore 👌🏼
fair fucking play for swapping the diff on the ground dude, we swap the diffs in my 1990 miata from a welder to an open diff each year so it will pass mot (yearly vehicle check in the uk) and we have it on a ramp and its still a headache.....

Just so you know now you have a welded diff you will need to rotate your tires more often other wise the rear tires will need replaced more often

At 8:40 the miata looks like it's got a smiley face bro hahaha. I remember I put urethane bushings on one of my first cars and it squeaked so bad. It sounded like early 2000's ford it was so bad.

i do stick welding mostly and feel like if do cut spindles on my miata 7018 should work fine right cause rod burns very hot and cast needs alot of heat what do yall thinks
I would try to use a cast steel specific rod, from rockmount
