    My mom grew poppies in her garden. They were so bright red they just popped. When they were done blooming we got to take the heads that were dry and collect the poppy seeds. Mom would roast them and put them into cake. This painting brought back some lovely memories Marena.

    I never would have guessed that starting off with black splatters on a wet background could yield such a beautiful result! The colors you've used for this are just perfect; I love the muted green and the very vibrant poppies.

    I love this. It is so bright and vivacious. I hope I can pain the poppies as I seem to be "poppy impaired." Most flowers bear a passable resemblance when I attempt painting them. But give me a poppy, and I am certain to come up with a red blob! Thank you, Renata.

    Hi Renata - I would like to try out one of the Lebenzon paintbrushes. Which style/size did you use in this video? and Which style/size do you use the most (or is your favorite)?

    • @MarenaART
      @MarenaART  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hey Allison, they all are so amazing. Since I do love script brushes, I love to use small goat synthetic blend (the one I used in this video also): lebenzon-paintbrushes.com/product/small-goat-synthetic-blend-brush-with-1-inch-bristle/
      As I said that one is not for larger washes, but more detailed work (at least in my opinion).
      One that is definitely more versatile (and of course more expensive) is large goat hair : lebenzon-paintbrushes.com/product/large-bamboo-cane-goat-hair-brush-with-1-inch-bristle/
      It is hard for me to recommend you a specific brush when I do not know for what you need it. I am sure you will be happy with any Lebenzon brush you choose. They haven`t disappointed me yet. :)
      And if you do get any use code: Renata for 20% discount :)

    Love your poppies! Could you tell us exactly what Lebenzon brush you are using here? There are so many different lengths and hair types on the site. I’m not sure if it’s the: Small Diameter Silver Fox Brush With 1 Inch Long Bristle or Small Diameter Goat And Synthetic Blend Brush With A 1.5 Inch Long Bristle, etc. if you could tell us the name of the brush from the website you’re using here that would be awesome! Thanks so much!
