Marvelous. Grew up watching and listening to Kenny Everett. A firm influence on me. Have never forgotten "The worlds most Fabulous man". We need him back.
I'm thinking it was 30 years ago that I would stay up til 1 AM just to watch The Kenny Everett Show in reruns on WNBC Channel 4. He probably made me laugh harder than Benny Hill (RIP).
My brother and me, when our Dad was being a bit smug or conceited (which was often), we used to call him' the world's most fabulous man'. He would always look at us with a 'huh?' expression.
LOL ! @ 4:23 karla's panties drop ! This is fantastic, we never got to see this here in the US. I take it that this is the gentleman who did all those wonderfull animations for Monty Pythons Flying Circus ? TY for posting this so the rest of the world can see. The Nixon jokes are great & its comical that Hitler is gettin fun poked @ him ( I think Mel Brooks would aprove)
Cooler than Kirk! Faster than Flash!! Born to Tread Boldly!!! Oh, thank you... Captain Kremmen graced my ears via radio in London before the TV shows... nobody can compare with The World's Most Fabulous Man!! SO GOOD!!
0:53 Does anybody find it a bit strange that as the voiceover says Captain Kremmen has an IQ of 498, the screens next to him say "21"? (Is that a bit of a dig at him...?)
Something else. The Kremmen serials are meant to be parodying the serialised limited-animation hero shows that were common on television in the 1950s and 60s in Kenny Everett's youth. He obviously must have had those in mind when first devising the Kremmen concept for Capitol Radio, because even in the radio segments give off the air it could have been once of those animated serial shows. No wonder then that for Kenny Everett's Video Show the Kremmen shorts were animated.

Thanks for posting this. Kremmen was always my fave part of the Kenny Everett Video Show. I haven't seen this in 25 years!

Mark Wrenn It's almost as if they were using juxtaposition for comedic effect.
