General axle question, how do you prevent it from sliding back and forth. Does the fit on the wheels just need to be very tight tolerance?
Where the axle goes into the hub it is a close / tight fight. The addition of the set screws really clamps it in place though. I have never had any come lose. The bearings are fitted into a 2x2 inch alum square tube. See my ebay page for more detailed pictures. www.ebay.com/itm/183604522411
