While I do think they need more vocal training, they are honestly not as terrible as people online are making it seem. And I thought their coachella performance was really great! Yes there were some weaker moments, but it didn’t ruin their performance imo. I just think Hybe needs to prioritize vocal training for the next comeback

yes! i agree. i think we shouldn't tear into them, and only give them the criticism that makes sense. chaewon is the only one that hit most of the notes 😭 i think the only thing they need to improve on is vocal stability and training.
i watched the entire thing live, but i am pretty sure they sounded better irl, and at least the crowd loved it

i watched the whole performance live, and i have to appreciate their energy, dancing, stage presence, hyping the crowd, and most of the singing. i do agree with the people who are respectfully criticizing them as there WERE definitely some bad moments in vocals , yunjin was screaming sometimes, chaewon carried as always , sakura and eunchae were out of breath and unstable quite a few times and kazuha wasn't even audible to me some times. but this is not their fault to be very honest, it's completely source label and hybe's fault for not giving them a fricking vocal trainer as they are under a freaking contract and can't take vocal lessons without their permission , plus, i could see the potential and the amount of hardwork they did for coachella and imo , they were sent too early just like aespa , they surely weren't completely ready for such a huge music festival, i'm neither against them nor completely on their side cuz i too was disappointed a few times but that doesn't mean that i'm gonna brutally hate on them cuz i've seen my favs bp go through it and it is ROUGH. I feel like this hate train is just going too far , just like it went for bp, people love to judge them based on a clip of 10mins barely out of almost an hour performance. they just have to focus on their vocal training and stability lessons plus i feel like sometimes they have unnecessarily hard choreos which needs to be stopped if hype is not even giving them a vocal trainer. overall, i would rate their performance a good 7/10.

The hate train started after unforgiven and i hope it ends quickly because they are humans too, no one is perfect :) and the controversies and rumors are INSANE!
Unforgiven wasn't even bad either. It was just some instances of kazuha sounding a lil flat on their encore stage and Sakura's voice sounding weak and shaky.

IMO, they also did decent. i could really tell that they practiced and have improved as well. but now, once the hate starts, and everyone keeps saying 'le sserafim had terrible vocals' 'they're not even trying' 'aren't they just a pretty face' and these kinds of things, it begins to get into everyone's head that all of this is true. bc it's not js a small group of ppl saying this, but at least 85% are saying this. and you know how the kpop industry is. once anything like this happens, everyone jumps on them as an oppurtuinty to bash them without even listening to the whole thing. i also stayed up late to watch it live, and ik that live version is directly from the mic and it was great! there were very few moments that they were off pitch- but the haters will do anything to use that to their advantage. it's really heartbreaking to see how much they hate lsf. and even more heartbreaking bc we fearnots know much work and effort was put into this. blood, sweat and tears. kkura even said it was like the debut days. and all that work just for ppl to put them down and claim that they can't sing at all. i honestly think a lot of it is bc of their lower pitched songs like fearless, they tend to struggle more in that range, but that's okay! source has to realize where their comfort zone is and give them sings that will show everyone that they sing well when it's in their range. for example, their easy stage was perfection! they were stable and on pitch and i think it's bc they were more comfortable in that range. anyway, sry for the long comment, im so angry with all tha hate. im not even kidding rn, every comment and notification i see is abt lsf and their so called 'bad vocals'...

Considering the difficulty of their choreo and the fact they have only been together two years they are amazing performers! I would rather watch their exciting and fun show than “ perfect” singers with boring performances and limited choreo. Le Sserafim has all the things they need to provide a great experience for their fans and with more experience they will rise to the top. I don’t understand why people online are hating when people who were actually there loved the performance. We have unrealistic expectations of most kpop idols tbh. They’re still pretty new groups, they’ll figure things out.
The hate is harrass but they had a point when you look at groups like exo snsd shinee monsta x ateez NCT who have very hard chores but still managed to sound good in their rookie days ( live vocals ) the hate is understandable because the older generation very vocally talented but the newer generation is just abt marketing so the kpop fans do have a point it's just that the newer kpop stans don't have clue abt how kpop worked in 2nd and 3rd generation so their standards are low and they are defending their faces. Sakura being an idol for 13 years chaewon who was in izone and yunjin having survival show experience with an opera background...i think people expected better.

They weren't exactly terrible tho. People are being unnecessarily rude. A lot are sharing their bad clips. Tbh I think it takes guts for them to even sing 100% live. Although I'm not disregarding that they do in fact need more vocal training. But since we are only fans, they could've done vocal training for who knows how long behind the scenes. Along with fitting other filming into their schedule. They had weak moments but we can only hope they do better next week. Hopefully people stop comparing them to Blackpink too lol

Honestly they weren't as BAD AS HATERS SAID they were yes they need vocal training but they've improved a lot, the performance was amazing full of energy ,smiles and the crowd loved it as well !! Sakura and CHAEWON were quite stable as for others they've improved greatly ! I hope everyone can spread positive criticism and leave them alone

I do think softing up the singers is a bad idea. They are pretty, and good at dancing. But vocals? Not so much. Someone said that Hybe is sending half baked idols out into the world, and I agree. They need vocal lessons and songs should be altered into their pitch. I don’t think they were ready for Coachella yet.

I do think they need more vocal practice but thats about it! Idealy they are the perfect group for coachella they know how to get a crowd hyped, have amazing stage presense and dance. The vocals were overall okay they had really strong parts in songs but struggled in some songs like antifragile and mainly smart. I overall enjoyed every part of it im not suprised they have voice cracks its bound to happen to any artist. I got hyped. The crowd at coachella loved it i heard nothing but praise from them. Considering how much they improved vocally in just a month in a half while dancing, singing and performing eith no breaks they sounded decent im sure if hybe gives them more vocal training in the future they will sound a lot better snd stable but honestly the hate is exagerating to much, its ok if you didnt like the vocals but covering up literal bullying commenting by saying critism is bad. Knetz love to nitpick and cherry pick. They also seem to think Music Bank / Inkigayo are the same as something like Coachella (which is so friggin delulu idk where to even start). I watched the stream ,and while they certainly weren't perfect, they still put on a great show. It was energetic, hype, and fun. Like the dude said in the video, they had stage presence, great crowd interaction, and the choreo was on point. The band itself also made it very cool and unique from their usual performances.
Blackpink and Aespa got ridiculous hate too, and much like with LS; I don't think was at all warranted. But you know who DIDN'T hate any of these groups? People who were at the shows. And THATS what matters. Knetz need to get jobs, touch grass, and find some joy in life instead of being miserable clowns talking shit about five hard working girls. Who, by the way, have NEVER done something like this (hence their nerves).

Le sserafim Is great. Many people up until perfect night loved the group and said nothing but good things. They were looked at as underdogs but now everyone is quick to hate since they’ve gained that success. I barely just got into “kpop” and it’s really only NJ and LE ser + TXT but I see why I never messed with it to begin with. These Toxic Stan’s base there whole mood, personality, and happiness on hate towards unliked groups. LOADS of them have a fantasized outlook on how an artist should be and it’s like one huge unhealthy idolatry obsession. Never seen so much hate in any other community in my life.
This is what I see from an outward look in into the kpop world as a person who just enjoys some of the artist. What I say isn’t towards EVERYONE but it is a vast majority and I believe most of you would agree

At the end of the day a Coachella performance should’ve never happened when they can’t even do an encore on a stage in Korea. I like lesserafim, but it’s not a secret that their vocals are LACKING. In a way that’s honestly not fixable. But even then I do believe that their should be more time spent practicing and getting somewhat better than to try to show off and fail.
I watched the whole live performance and they performed nicely, their energy was fun and their dancing was amazing. but that one thing that caught me just from watching live were their singing, honestly, their vocals need to improve. and most fans saying they put "too much work" into their choreography and complaining on how hard their dances get every comeback. this is not their choice whether they have to do it or not they cant just change the choreography to whatever they want and is up to their dance mentors/directors. though dancing and singing at the same time might not be an excuse but the hate towards them is too far. also dragging other groups into it saying "____ is way better" or "____ shouldve been there" esp bp coming from their last coachella. It is unnecessary and not needed. most of yous coming at yunjin, kazuha and eunchae for their bad vocals mostly that they were just screaming. the rest are just cheering on sakura and chaewon for their improvement. tbh, they all need to improve not just "yunjin" or "kazuha" they all do. it may not seem the same for other people but for me it does. (as an opinion) yes, they were unstable and were straining a lot but that doesnt make you create a hate train towards them. even all the members were excited to go to coachella esp as their first time but instead it ended up as hate. and notice how most non kpop fans that watched it actually enjoyed it but coming from kpop stans it was just hate and nobody liked it. sometimes its not just kpop stans that hate some try to defend and some dont even care. people these days just love to judge others when they see something wrong. though we should just appreciate that they came to perform all ready even with any mistakes it still was an amazing performance. not everybodys perfect.
Well honestly Chaewon was amazing, she literally was off key just once in that high note in the end, yup that wasn’t good, but the rest of her was great, so I hate that people drag down whole group. Also Yunjin was pretty good in some notes, yes sometimes off key, but still I think they can work with that. Yeah the other three were pretty bad, like Eunchae and Kazuha were off pitch like all the time, 98% of all notes weren’t there. What I think, they should just give them rap or speaking parts, not real notes, and the problem is solved. Like I literally can’t understand who being a professional musician or producer would give Kazuhe such difficult parts, often same as Chaewon, when she can’t sing like at all, just why? Look how in gidle Soyeon never gives Shuhua difficult notes, she only give her parts, there she could shine and not attract anger from the audience, thats great production skills. Why not do same with these girls
So many kpop fans will defend their "faves/idols/bias" not knowing damn well that the kpop industry is all manufactured ( Especially 4th gen ). Their performance at Coachella just confirmed that lmao. Stop promoting the bare minimum from these idols lol
I don’t really take most of the criticism seriously because it is mainly coming from people who have a preferred group and are upset this group achieved something significant before their own favorite. LSF is primarily a dance group and on that front they are probably the best major girl group active currently.
Plus when we have these discussions it has to be asked who we are comparing them to. Twice Itzy and Aespa have all similarly received criticism (Rightly) for their performance skills, if someone told me with a straight face they think they put on a better show or sing better I would have a hard time taking any criticism they have for them too seriously.

It's really hard to sing them live and do such performance. They did really well. It will only be bad if you compare them with the divas like Whitney Houston, Celine Dion. Even Taylor loses her cool in her live shows, obviously Korean haters don't understand about how live shows work or give the different vibe from recorded songs.
