Pretty good in the details. Window i used forilla tape to hold it up. That black abs block by on the aluminum cover was a pain. But its so nice to be ble to open my door again.
I ordered the part. This is best video they I could find to help with the repair. My driver side door will not open from the outside. I had Kia do the front door latch recall in 2017, where they just out the spacer in…but that failed on my today, 4 yrs later and they won’t cover the repair.
Excellent video. If I had not followed it, I would have done some damage removing he parts. The window section is a bit misleading, but apart from that excellent, for a very complicated door.
the window was half way down then you take the 2 bolts out ? how did his get back up after that ? and do you start the project with the window half way down ? confused
@@GuitarMagikyou can’t put window down tell you take off that first section because you have to line up bolts. Reply the window in and roll it halfway down. Then unscrew bolts. Then put the window all the way up with your hands and use tape to make sure it stays their
This video is okay, But at the taking the window out part do not take the bolts out all the way. The bracket may fall off on the re-install. They only have to be loose for the window to be free, oh and have some wd-40 handy for the window re instal.
Did i miss a step? do you have to take the window out? it looks like he just has it rolled up all the way. that part of the video seems to be missing some context. So after backing out the window bolts do you manually slide the window up? Do you remove the window all the way? is there some trick to keeping the window in the door while you remove the panel? This is the closest thing i could find even resembling a helpful video and it seems some important details are left out. ARRGhh! (any help would be appreciated)
The only thing worse than a repair video with no narrative is a repair video with music only. It's even worse when the same 45 seconds is repeated for 00:23:45.
you're killing me with this video dude. You carefully show all of the obvious screws that need to be removed, but then you don't show yourself actually removing the the inner trim panel or whatever it's called. Why? I'm stuck trying to actually remove my inner panel. All of the screws are out but there is something blocking my window from being removed and/or plastic blocking it from being pulled out. it's loose and I can move it and the window around, but I can't remove it. I thought your vid would show that. The widow is about a third of the way up and it won't release from the arm or whatever is holding it.
For others having problems removing the inner door panel, do the following. Remove the Window 1) Pop Out the Switch Box: Use a screwdriver to lift the tabs and pop out the switch box on the door panel. (makes it easier) 2) ReConnect Molex Connectors of Switch box to operate the window with power. 3) Power On the Car: Turn on the cars utility power to operate the window switch. 4) Lower the Window: Roll down the window slowly about 3/4 of the way to expose two bolts. 5) Loosen the Bolts: Use a wrench to loosen them. No need to remove them completely. 6) Remove the Window: Lift and slide out the window manually. Remove the latch and inner panel 1) Remove Torx Screws: Find and remove the screws that secure the door latch. 2) Remove Door Handle if not previously done so 3) Maneuver the Panel: Slide out and shift the panel down and to the left to access the door cavity. 4) Be Cautious of Additional Wires: If you only need access to the door cavity, there's no need to disconnect the additional wires on the left side of the panel. Otherwise, disconnect them to fully detach the panel.
I just completed this on the driver side…the video helped out a lot! It took me about 3 hours
Thank you for this video. Super helpful, taking the time to show every step.
Unbelievable, well done 👍

Then turn your volume down
Take your tampon out. If you can’t watch and get it done. You should probably take your vehicle to a man. Maybe your wife’s boyfriend.
I don’t need the music , can someone talk and tell me what you are doing instead
When he points it’s a something you have to do. Use your brain. There’s no producer credits my guy
cant you follow along?
