What do you think about 2:43 the advanced shield specialist for the opponent? In these situations I feel like the stormcaller player can take that and you have a 0% chance to win or destroy the shield if you don't immediately go an anti-shield item. PLUS it blocks your missile strike which seems pretty telegraphed given his board. When I am in your position, I feel obligated to go anti shield since if I don't, I just get fucked. It feels lucky he didn't do that. Similar with round 3 and the shield drop.
This would have been a great play considering my board! Usually it can be risky and send you down an economic rabbithole if the opponent has units to break the shields, but when this isn't the case, shielding for tempo can certainly be a good play.
Hi Rooster, happy new year ! 9:05 : Why pick the range instead of +1 attack? The tempo is too important? Or just the attack was useful only for the arclights duels? 11:59 : The double tech was worth the loan I guess ? How do you came to that Thinking? And not 1 tech with bunch of units, then the second one during the next round? Your opponent uped his storm 1 time, I guess it's because you're elite spec. In your opinion, is that correct? Thx for your answers ! Take care ! P.S : I'm Le_Papa_Ours on Twitch btw.
More elite games please! I appreciate the insights for this specialist, as I am never sure how to play her. While it is clear that the carry unit will be a T1 or T2 unit, feeding my opponent overpriced chaff and extra XP feels... wrong.
It takes some getting used to! Starting packs with chaff are somewhat mandatory for elite to work, as you at least start with 3 level 1 crawlers/fangs. Packs that let you buy 2 blue arclights on round 1 are the best imo.
Two options, either the Raiden get's nerfed, or people learn how to play against it. There is always going to be a meta unit or meta build. It is worth either learning how to use the unit, or learning how to beat it. One good strategy is to run the build you are struggling against. By losing with that build, you learn its weaknesses and you can use them against your opponent when they go Raiden.

Thanks rooster ! I am not playing right now bc Raiden. Do you think it will be nerfed some more ?

It will likely get some balance changes very soon!
Marksmen are a good counter
