My hubby and I danced to this version in our wedding in 2018. I'm a big Fred Rogers fan, and this song said everything we needed to say to each other. :)
After Vince's tumultuous first marriage I can certainly see why he fell for Amy..she's authentic, relaxed, peaceful, lovely and so good for him. Love shines forth from BOTH of them. When it's "God thing" it's just so wonderful and right.
Yes he is be proud of her I know She is a very special woman God has blessed this world with her beautiful heart Vince is very special man The two of them were Gods grace
As only Amy can take any song and bless it with her beautiful talented gift of music God truly Bless her and us with her beautiful talent She has blessed us and continues to bless this world with the grace of her beautiful inspirational blessings she has done for. The world and the people she has touched in their lives those she has touched n the world and made such a difference in this world as she has done so much and inspired so many and we all love her We Love admire and respect you Ms Amy Grant Amen 🙏 Thank you 🙏
Thank you Amy. I enjoyed your rendition of Mr. Rogers special song. I teach First grade. I recently went to watch "Wont you be my Neighbor" the documentary about Mr. Rogers. It was recently recommended by a loving church friend. I was so touched by the movie and then I had this idea to sing it to my First Graders. Wouldn't that be a wonderful way to start off the new school year.
She released one album the entire album were songs, where it was obvious she was waiting for him to leave his wife. They've been together twenty years speaks something. However, I remember the first time I heard those songs. It was disturbing. There was a Christmas special I saw in the nineties long before there was any mention of golfing, an Amy, and a Vince. She looked at him like a starry eyed 16yr old and I remembered thinking that doesn't look good. They sang "House of Love" and she turned to him and commented "my Christmas wish is to sing this duet with you". I've not been in an unhappy marriage so I can not judge. But, many years later when talk was established I went back to that one Christmas special and I wasn't surprised at all.
Yep and he admitted to drug addiction while they were married. Only they and probably the 3 children they share that knew what went on behind closed doors.

What a lovely, sweet song. I'm so happy for you both.
😥 😥 😥 RIP to Mr. Fred Rogers. A wonderful human being who was an angel in disguise. 😇
Fred Rogers wrote this song on his show. I'm glad they did a remake of it to remember him. He was great man and will never be replaced. I like him.
