The Kerala's weapons barrage at the end, taking out the Klingons, is everything!
Ridiculously overpowered for that era. I wasn't buying it.
Love how it unloads the kitchen sink at 3:13, great looking ship
Love the pivot and then the opening up on the Klingon ship
A true mid 23rd century design!
Richard Ched
3 months ago I strongly agree. Also the modified Klingon C8B VoD'leH (Emperor) Class ?Heavy Cruiser looks very awesome.
Diggin it. Especially the old phaser FX both sound and VFX!!!! Nicely done!

Ok, I really like this one. While the big old Connie’s were out on their 5 year missions, Star Fleet would still need frigates and light cruisers to patrol friendly systems and the neutral zone. Ships like this could also defend remote Starbases. Great design.
Certainly better designed than the canon one!
This is a TOS Refit
If you take requests, I would LOVE to see your take on the TOS Doomsday Machine with the wrecked USS Constellation and the Enterprise.
Love that idea. I want to see it too.
that's brilliant
Amazing visual story and I love both starships. It’s one of those should’ve been in ST show esp. DIS. Well done!
Also did love the Shepard class in STO
That's a bad ass klingon D7 cruiser
Thanks :) Its actually a modified Emperor class. Originally from Klingon Academy
I knew it had to be the TOS version of the VoD'leH! Loved that ship in Klingon Academy.
Another good one. You are satisfying my Trek fix!
Favourite scene: 3:13 ! hands down!
🖖😎👍Very cool and very well nicely done indeed 👌.
Very interesting design the USS Kerala. Good job !
Now that it what I'm talking about. That was epic. Thank you.
Fantastic! Weapons effects and fluidic movements were top notch! Even the weapons fire tactics were astounding. I could actually feel when the weapons hit their mark. I am impressed.
I like your take on the Klingon Battlecruiser.
Thanks :) She's a modified Emperor class from Klingon Academy
the Klingon ship SOULD HAVE WON easily! gets off a brutal alpha strike, which would have done serious damage to the sheilds if not gotten right through them.
@@IronWarhorsesFun From the FX and explosions, I would say there was no shields up at first. That ship should have been vapor in the first volley.
@@compmanio36 Yep it's annoying seeing the Starfleet ship with God mode shields in every episode!
I love those impulse engines
They look great
This is one of the best battle scenes. The fighting was quick and concise. Glad to see Starfleet win some battles. The Capt. of the starship must have Kirk DNA in their blood.
I definitely enjoyed this video!! Great job as usual, thanks for sharing!! 🖖
Those TOS era ships can TANK. To take that many unshielded hits to it's engineering section and still not be destroyed, much less even lose warp, weapons or shields? A bit biased for the Feds I think, but a good vid regardless. :)
That has to be the best mix of this, and enterprise that I've seen in a long time! Wish she had appeared on one the tv shows, or better yet on the big screen!
Sorry, stupid auto fil, changed the tos to this for me! 😬
I don't care what anybody else says, I love the big gold Deflector Dish. The Enterprise sported one in Pike-centric The Cage, then they reduced the size for some reason.
This looks like a pioneer callas form Star Trek online and a Shepard class form discovery
I LOVE IT
I quite liked your depiction of the FASA Klingon L7 fast battlecruiser.
Dude, 3:13 was bad-ass! The way the phasers fired!
It was almost as though Jean-Luc Picard was in command here. It took fifteen seconds for the Kerala to commence firing on the Klingon during which time the Klingon got several direct hits on her.
I love how in 1:40 you can actually see the damage on the kerala
Wow that was cool! Video Copilot makes great effects. It's been oh say 4 or 5 years ago I bought everything at that time to make videos from Star Trek games. I'd much rather use blender, but my PC is toast. I'm looking for a high end rig now. Maybe one day we could collaborate on a video. I'm really liking how you do work on concept, battle scenes, and a funny one too.
I love how the shields were not up in the beginning of the attack. Details are what make things pop out and usually make or break a scene.
Thanks for posting.
That was Excellent!! I really enjoyed watching. THANK YOU!!!!
Beautiful! Well done!
Saw Klingon ship, blew up same! Seriously though, at the end there, that's the fastest I've ever seen a TOS ship fire phasers.
Emergency power to weapons might do the trick.
Wow, love everything about this video. The ships, the music, the editing, the effects, and the epic action. Well done!
I'm from *KERALA*
Better action battle than the shows, awesome thanks 👍
I can't say I'm a fan of the secondary hull that looks like a lamprey leeching on the ventral side.
No klingons survived or not taking prisoners to hold for a brutal trial like 🤔 they do with us humans?? I loved the effects and everything was 👍 great. Also take a piece of there hull to display it in the ship and back at star 🌟 fleet HQ? HMM yeah an idea us acting like they do. Just a thought.
You've got a serious great mixture of designs here. Keep it going. :-)
Now do it NX Ent style 😎
With the starship rear warp-drive extension if you see it is vulnerable it can really sustain a great deal or blown-up. I like better the Nebula class
not so susceptible to enemy-fire.
The Kerala design is certainly majestic, but why is the deflector dish so big?
Thanks :). Its because what I actually ended up doing was taking a Connie model I made, squishing the secondary hull, and adding more windows to it. A bit of a lazy approach lol.
The final maneuvers reminded me of Captain Archers helmsman did to defeat Duras at earth.
Reminiscent of the full Immelmann turn used by German WW1 ace Max Immelmann in his Eindecker fighter.
Love it. like to see an upgrade one like part of the Saipan fleet. lol
If the nx refit design was pushed in to TOS it would be this i love it!
Nice! 4 impulse engines? Great manuverability.
I liked that you used the TOS phaser and photon sounds, but wished we could have gotten the Klingon disruptor TOS sounds. Other than that, and excellent scene.
Could you please do some ships from all generations with the armour technology on show to see how it would look and maybe even a klingon ship. Id love to hear picard say deploy armour! It would look incredible on the Enterprise
I wanna see whole films with your CGIs
You know, as fun as these videos are to watch, & as cool as they are, starships Are Not Fighter Jets.
Thank you. It's almost identical to a mid-level ship I've designed.
Love it!😀
Awesome ! ! 😎
and suddenly the d9 was in pieces.. :) umm also i still have issues with the tapered nacelles. but all in all loved it :) hope your computer is running well :)
Its doing better now. Thank you :)
Fantastic !! I love the both redesigns! I’m curious, how do you do the explosions? They are really nice!
Thanks:) I got them from Action VFX and Footage Crate and enhanced the color. I still need to work on making better explosions. I don't make explosions much.
Shea Walker But they are awesome ! Thanks!
Oh no
twenty one cries for help Hey! :D
And when they got back to base, the Captain was probably court martialed for not stopping for survivors.
Woah, fantastic animation. Camera, 3d models, lighting, everything fits so well and amazingly detailed. Great job.
Are there Star Trek Armada sounds in there? The Klingon weapons sound familiar.
What was used to make the animation? 3dsmax? Blender?
That was hella cool!! 🖖🏽🖖🏽🖖🏽🖖🏽
Give the TOS Enterprise rapid fire phasers, the torpedoes of Voyager and the heavy duty multi-phasic shielding and deployable Borg resistant armor then you got a very tough ship that can rival that of the latest class of Federation starship. Oh I forgot, better maneuverability.
I like it who came up with this ship?
That was Coooool!
I enjoyed that.
Hello Again, I know this is surely getting old by now, but how do you make those phaser beams/bursts and torpedos? Hopefully this is the last one!
Lol its OK. I use Optical Flares for the torpedoes and Saber for the beams and pulses. Both from Video Copilot
seems that aft and belly attacks are the weakness of this craft. but Excellent concept.
*Cool.*
Hey I dying to know what program you used to create this? I love the quality
This is what they should have used in STD
Nah, this is a TOS Refit.
Agreed. If only they had just obeyed canon....
It's disco, not STD. But I agree with the sentiment. Although the Kerala in Disco was already close to TOS, just some more tweaks need like TOS nacelles and a TOS paintjob and then it would have worked well.
@@slighter I really like the blend of ENT and TOS design styles. Still think that epic Klingon opening Salvo Should have counted for a lot more. They don't even lose shields!
Evan Guthrie
5 months ago They should have also have gone back to using the proper Klingons ships.
I think I would have liked the design a little better had the nassel struts been angled downward (a la Miranda or Akira class) instead of upward to give the ship less of a fore/aft profile. Literally my only criticism on a beautiful design and a seamless animation.
How'd they survive direct hits from antimatter weapons?
Cool! Except a D7 gets on your 6 you are generally screwed.
My Starship would be U.S.S. PINOLE. NCC-94564
(Go Spartans!)
Star Trek, starship porno at it's finest, kudos.
Cool why don't you guys just make a movie
definitely rough around the edges, but gud shit nonetheless
The design is too weird but it, does seem tough...
I wanna design a ship
And you did it?
OK sorry, but i love the Klingon ship, what is it called??? it should have won!!! how does a TOS era Starfleet ship take an alpha strike up the ass like that then suffer seemingly no real damage as it these two continue to wail on each other??? that was a gloriously brutal fatality at the end, but the Klingon SHOULD HAVE WON or at least had a draw.
This looks more like jar jar Abrams universe style rather than tos
That is one low res poorly done ship
Awful Lot of fire power for a TOS type era ship. Aft Phasers???--- really??
