This puranpoli is called Khapar chi Puranpoli. This type of khapar chi puranpoli is made in khandesh division of maharshtra like Dhule, Jalgaon district. Don't be confused with Mande and Khapar chi puranpoli. Mande is made only of wheat flour with no filling inside it. But the one shown in this video is Khapar chi puranpoli which is made up of wheat flour dough and has puran filling in it. ❤
In Kasaragod this kind of dry puran poli (called as holige) is prepared. But the size, method & pan is different. Whereas in eastern parts of Karnataka like Bengaluru ghee or oil is used.
