Max, I just had a 2nd look at Norway a Wonderland; it stayed on my mind all night. I truly do love this piece of work. I think the story was made even more effective by using the mom and kid. Last night I focused more the natural settings and scenery, but today , I focused more on the mom and her telling the story. Had it been done differently, with a narrator for example, it might just have been a documentary, and I see now, that you didn't intend this to be a documentary. You've inspired me.
Wery nice. In the middle of my working place. The power plant and reservoares in Forsfjorden in Moskenes, Lofoten. All down to the dock and our orange winch.
Waouhh! that's amazing I cannot believe that someone who's seen my film is actually working in one of the place I have filmed in !! unbelievable, cheers for the comment ;-) make sure you share the film with your working colleague then :-) Max
Max you never cease to amaze me. This film is absolutely stunning, beautiful, spectacular, inspiring, creative, peaceful. I imagine the immense work and time that must have gone into making it, I imagine the sheer joy you and the crew must have experienced in seeing it come to be. This is truly a masterpiece. Thank you for sharing piece of your paradise with me, and you can be assured that I will do likewise and share it. I do wish you and your family a wonder christmas season. Cheers Alva
This is amazing! Norway's a breathtaking wonderland indeed, I know that now after our roadtrip this summer: "Heading Up North" - Norway Roadtrip Part I
Loved it.. im from the west coast of norway where the biggest fjords are, and i must say, you portrayed Norway perfectly, only thing that lacked was the northern lights, but man, u made norway seem magical, and made me proud in the process
There are so many beautiful countries in the world where we can see how truly awesome our heavenly Father is! He handiwork is everywhere! He is the ultimate artist! I love the countries that the Alps are in too! There was a show on axstv called The Alps From Above...wow! Loved those shows!
Hi JonitFR, Thanks for yoru comment, and apologies for the lat answer. I am not sure if you meant the sharpening tool instead. I did use on few shots the sharpening function to get the images a little crisper, usually a couple of pixels radius ;-) hope that helped. Max
Thanks arigooner, I was not particularly running, but more walking fast, the camera was very close from the ground, hence the impression of speed ;-) hope that helped, Max
amazing breathtaking audio-visual experience !!! man you are a really talented! ... i have one technical question if you don't mind, i assume you used a Unsharp Mask filter, what radius have you used? 1px or even less?
TdkPlays Not until you're cleansed and you follow the path of the gods! the path is long, an you will be met with difficulties! May odin, the allfather cleanse this land of evil invaders!
Throw Boy NorseWarriorFromNorway It's important to respect norse mythology though, even if you don't believe in all its Gods. It's what Scandinavia was built on, and we still carry with us alot of the viking culture. For an example men and women being equals. Remember and respect the vikings and their beliefs even if you're a christian, muslim or whatever, and the other way around also. I'm a christian myself.
Waouu!! Thanks Alva for this awesome feedback, that's really gonna make my day awesome too. i'm glad you can appreciate the amount of work which has been put into. There is also 20 min of interviews about the film coming on my Behind the scene channel: "behindmax" an it starts TODAY ;-) Have a lovely Xmas season too my friend, all the best.MAx
It's an amazing video, but i know more idyllic places in Norway like notheren lights, islands, the Finnmark platoeu and you should have a little bit more about the night and the moon. You must have used much time filming this video, but you look very professional and i think you should make a part 2. I would loved it and I think everyone wants more. Well it's just my opinion :)
yeah there is a strong message behind the film, the last few words of the mum "nature is beautiful, but never forget nothing is endless", then when the kid ask who wrote the story and if it is true, and then at the end the Calendar.... Think, think ;-)
this was outstanding, loved every second of it! But it was kinda sad that you didnt manage to get the northern part of norway, the endless deserts of snow, the northern lights. That would make this film complete. :)
Yes, it's beautiful but be sure the weather is not always like this. Most of the times, specially in western Norway (the most beautiful mountains and fjords) there are few sunny days and the skies are totally gray to white with lots of rain. Most Norwegians travel to south Europe to get one or two sure sunny weeks, that even in the summer.
Lol, I would strongly agree, I guess all this water does not come from nowhere, it must rain at some stage to get all this! i got very lucky, I went on the first week of July!
***** I have been thinking a lot. I lived in that God forsaken country for too long. I know VERY well what I am saying. Norwegian are just what I described earlier.
I am so proud to be one of today's 28,841 viewers who witnessed such beautiful wonderland!
Hey, Thanks for the great comment Kwamee ;-) i'm flattered. Max
You are welcome and Thanks again for having such a wonderful video!
Been to norway about 24 times and i never get tired of it :)
wish I had been there that many times!
+DrMcKay66 we did 8 times fromEast to West and North to South, every day is a separate holiday.
Thank you for showing my country in this fanatastic way. With wonderful music and that soft "Voiceover" sound all the way!
I cant die without been in Norway at least once. I really want to live there.
I live there, and I would love if you did too. Welcome
such a beautiful country!with lovely house and landscape
AMAZING...!!!

You're welcome anytime! :) Unless you're a arab or a muslim, or christian or buddhist, may the norse mythology raise.. !
Odin, the allfather is the most powerful god! and he will punish all religions, except norse mythology!
NorseWarriorFromNorway I'm a Christian, so I can't go!?!? D:

that bridge over the rapids, where is that exactly? looks really cool.
***** I think it is not far away from Dønfoss, located in Skjåk in Oppland county. It is a bridge there crossing the river Otta :)

How did you get the "Orange Waves - Echo Town" song?? :o Was amazing for that scene
They are friends of mine so I asked them if i could use their song for the soundtrack :)

Tülin Ha: "god is more beautiful than norway"
And how do you know that.....i wonder ?
Did you read it on Wikipedia ?
Only a dude from sweden would say that..
Beautiful country, but I hate the camera work.
