The guitar licks are unmistakably Lindsey's play style.
As others have noted, Fleetwood Mac - specifically Mick Fleetwood - recruited Lindsey to join the band. The engineer of the Buckingham Nicks album, Keith Olsen, played this song for Mick Fleetwood at Sound City Studios in LA. Fleetwood was impressed and wanted to meet the guitar player. Buckingham was in the studio that day recording demos, and was introduced to Fleetwood. When he was asked to join the band, he said he'd join on the condition that his girlfriend be included. Mick has since related that at first he didn't expect the girlfriend to contribute much to the band, but was happily proved very, very wrong.
Absolutely love Stevie Nicks and Fleetwood Mac! Her voice is magical and unmistakable. Definitely must listen to " Gypsy, Seven Wonders, Stand Back or any song from them or her solo. Just a fyi one of Lindsey Buckingham underrated but really good solo hit" Go Insane " is another one I think you would love. Thanks for the memories and bless you your awesome ❤
1st time listen for me! It's not 🚫 bad! I guess this was before they joined Fleetwood Mac! See you next time!
Steve !!! Thank you thank you !! I've been wanting someone to react to this for years. Only Angela gets it !! Not surprised it you did it girl. (Now you see why Fleetwood searched them out to join the Mac). Woo Hoo.
Buckingham Nicks were a duo before they joined Fleetwood Mac. Funnily enough, originally FM only wanted Linsday, not Stevie. Think of what they would have lost had she not been able to join.
Lovely Angela.
Lindsey Buckingham was playing the guitars.
I owned this vinyl album back in the day. Unfortunately I lent it to a teacher in college, and he never returned it. It's worth a small fortune now. The songs on this record were very creative.
Yeah, heard that. I never got an LP or CD returned that I leant to anyone. I had a few LPs stolen, which I recovered because I had put my name on the LP label. Also had to recover a few very precious LPs after a relationship ended. It was “I’m just here to get my records back.”
I now know: never lend anybody anything without expecting to never see it again.
I knew of the album, but this is the first time hearing this song. I thought it was great. Now I'm sorry I didn't get the Album back in the day.
Don't forget Lindsey Buckingham's expert skills on guitar. I'm so glad Fleetwood Mac took them both. They only wanted Lindsey at first.
Liked this one by this pair, before they became part of Fleetwood Mac. They complement each other so well, and cool guitar on this one.
I have had this album for decades and go back to it at least once a year. Could I suggest " _Crystal_ " as another track from this album that will give you a glimpse of the haunting offerings Stevie and Lindsey would eventually bring to Fleetwood Mac's sound?
Geeyad! I wanted to hook up with Stevie back then.
Estas herrnosa
Your beautiful ❤
