      Many pro-Hamas/Palestinians just blindly followed the media that Israel is an apartheid state, Israel started genocides on Palestinians and starve Palestinians. In this war, Israel failed to make use of the media to their advantage.
      When I looked at Israel, they have Arabs and Druze in their country but I don't see Jews in Gaza. So who is the apartheid state?
      Starvation is all made out by UN. Everyday there are hundreds of food trucks going into Gaza. Some food trucks were hijacked by Hamas as seen in the videos. They have videos of a place like a warehouse where the food in bags were offloaded and kept there. How dare UN said Israel starved Palestinians?
      Regards to Genocide, Israel gave notices to Palestinians to evacuate to a safer zone before they bombed the place. NO country in a war ever did that. Not even in Ukraine-Russian war. For Genocide to occur, one must show *it has the intent to destroy an ethnic group* according to UN definition of Genocide, yet UN allowed South Africa to rant that Israel committed Genocide. Genocide does not depend on number of people killed, as genocide could happen to a group of only 5 people. Hamas on the other hands, say all Jews must be eliminated. That is already an intent shown.

    The assertion that a nation's existence should be negated based on its demographic or ethnic composition constitutes a clear manifestation of bigotry. The right of all nations to exist is axiomatic. While disparities exist in governmental efficacy and societal harmony, the fundamental right to national existence remains inviolable. Israel was established under the same legal framework as most other Middle Eastern, South American and African states. Its borders were delineated according to its Mandate and the international legal principle of uti possidetis juris. Denying this fundamental truth constitutes an act of antisemitism.

    • @sufou
      @sufou 14 วันที่ผ่านมา

      international law does not explicitly recognize a "right to exist" for any nation as a legal principle. But it does recognizes state sovereignty and self-determination for people, if you were so caught up with the right for peoples to exist why not focus your energy on Palestinian or Kurdish statehood.
      According to case law “the principle of uti possidetis was formulated to serve a dual purpose: first, a defensive purpose towards the rest of the world, in the form of an outright denial that there was any land without a sovereign (or terra nullius)” Israel's borders were not definitively set by the 47 UN partition plan and the wars that followed, to claim that Israel should occupy all of Palestine under uti possidestis juris a nasty and outdated attempt by you to annex the remaining areas which Israel already does, if you are going to abide by international law Israel must stick to its responsibilities under IL which is neglect and resolutions to withdraw from the west bank and the golan heights.
      Stop using antisemitism to justify the horrid crimes of the Israeli states.

      @polecat-4559 14 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      @ While international law may not explicitly codify a singular, freestanding "right to exist" in the same way it protects specific human rights, the principle is deeply embedded within the framework of statehood and sovereignty. The Montevideo Convention on the Rights and Duties of States (1933), a cornerstone of statehood recognition, establishes criteria including a permanent population, defined territory, government, and capacity to enter into relations with other states. Implicit in meeting these criteria is the acknowledgment of a state's right to exist as a functioning entity within the international system. Furthermore, the UN Charter, particularly Article 2(4) prohibiting the threat or use of force against the territorial integrity or political independence of any state, 1 presupposes the existing right of states to maintain their existence. This is particularly relevant considering that many modern sovereign states were established through the League of Nations mandate or protectorate system. These mandates, often delineating borders based on prior administrative divisions, were formalized through international agreements. The principle of uti possidetis juris, which holds that newly formed states inherit the administrative boundaries of their predecessor entities, further solidified these borders in international law. The very concepts of self-determination, territorial integrity, and sovereign equality, foundational principles of the international legal order, are predicated on the inherent right of states to exist and function within defined borders, often established through mandates and solidified by uti possidetis juris, free from external aggression or dissolution. Therefore, while not explicitly labeled as such, the “right to exist” is a necessary and fundamental corollary to the established principles of statehood and sovereignty in international law.

    I am an Egyptian, and story of 67 that arrived to us is very different from what you said hahah, so it is very nice to hear the other side, as for us we were told that Israel took Sinai purely for expansion reasons, and they started the attack on 67 under the false flag of a need for a preemptive attack.
    The story for us also includes that if we hadn't made our surprise attack at 73 and took half of Sinai back, Israel would have never agreed to the peace and given up Sinai back.
    * But what is interesting to know is that when we got Sinai back after the peace, there was actually development done by Israel in Sinai, as they had actually built hotels and apartments complexes by the red sea (which still exists until this day and some still owned by the Israelis), they also added roads and added some basic infrastructure.
    Which to be honest collaborates the expansionist idea, but who knows maybe they only decided to develop since it was at the time theirs anyway and thought why not, but this definitely refutes the idea that they had plan of giving it back for peace.

    Here are some heart-warming Islamic sources that rarely get quoted, but Hams quotes them:
    Quran 98:6 "Verily, those who disbelieve (in the religion of Islam, the Quran and Prophet Muhammad) from among the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) and Al-Mushrikun will abide in the Fire of Hell. They are the worst of creatures."
    Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "I have been sent with the shortest expressions bearing the widest meanings, and I have been made victorious with terror (cast in the hearts of the enemy) - Sahih al-Bukhari 2977
    "Messenger of Allah said: I will expel the Jews and Christians from the Arabian Peninsula and will not leave any but Muslim." -Sahih Muslim 1767a
    Allah's Messenger said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kiII him." - Sahih al-Bukhari 2926

    Here's what I don't get about the "Israel starves Gazans" argument. Why is it Israel's responsibility? Is every man, woman, and child in Gaza an invalid? Are they completely incapable of growing their own food? In what universe is infantilizing an entire country a good idea?

    Usually your responses are pretty on-point. HOWEVER you said the words "took the West Bank"
    #1: not "took" rather Took Back...Judea/Samaria from Jordan's occupation as well as the Gaza strip from Egypt since 1949. BOTH were part of the British Mandate.
    #2: not "West Bank" That was a term that the British applied to the ENTIRETY of the Mandate Territory west of the Jordan. Judea/Samaria.
    The ONLY area under Israeli control is the Golan Heights which, under international law was legal as it was land taken in a defensive war.

    I live in Mexico and I am not 100% educated on this conflict, which I understand goes back for several decades. Mexico and Israel hold excellent Diplomatic relations. In fact, Israel was amongst the countries who sent a Brigade to rescue civilians after Mexico City's earthquake in 2017. As an attempt to educate myself, I would appreciate if IDF or an informed party, could fill me in on the following questions:
    1) On pro-Palestinian posts, I have read the term "Occupation" and "Settlers" a lot. Is there such a thing as "Occupation"? Is there in present day, any occupation from Israel on Palestinian territory? Are there any Israeli Settlers building homes and neighborhoods on Palestinian soil? If so, how would THAT, not fuel the RESENTMENT on Palestinians? How could imposing my Settlements on my neighbor's territory, help reach a peaceful relatipnship with such neighbor?

      roof knocks are not mandated by international law,you dont need to warn your enemy if its a military target,even if there are civilians there.
      check international law.
      and yet israel has been doing it for years because israel truly doesnt want to hurt those arab "civilians" even though they dont show the same courtesy back
