Well done. Both trailer, and video. I am always on the lookout for a 43 trailer to match my 43 Willy’s. Just be kinda fun to have, no real need or use.
Very interesting video- thanks! You may know, American Bantam was the only company to reply to the Army's request for a 1/4 ton truck- which became the Jeep. They based it on a small car they were making. Unfortunately, they could not supply the huge quantity the Army wanted to buy, so got the contract for these trailers as a 'consolation prize,' which kept them in business.
Hey there- I have a Bantam/Willys trailer from 1947 I'm looking to price out and sell- included are bows and canvas, and 1/2 sets of new wheel bearings. Interested in having a look and giving me an idea of what you think it would be worth?
@@ianbillings2958 Alas, I am no authority on the value of these so could not provide any useful info for you. You might check Hemmings or the 'Bring a Trailer' sites for comparable units. Good luck!
I have a WWII trailer for communications gear. It has a flat tire and Ican't get the wheel off - do you have a resource I can contact to get some help?
I have a WW 11 and Vietnam tent trailer with a one star on it. Looking to find a home as its 90% there or more as far as poles but no canvas. I am outside of St.Johns.AZ. get a hold me as its cheep as long as it gets restored.
Thank you so much!! I just picked up a TC3 for 350 bucks thinking it was a M100 with a tailgate mod. The seller thought it was a homemade trailer.

Great presentation, are they worth anything ?
These trailers definitely have value. Depending on condition, age, and type, they can go for as much as $2500
T3c trailers had bows and a normal top
I need one
Grommets not in place.
