@@Sparky00024 nah I got it from a friend for 1000 bucks and I'm 6 years strong on it. I learned from my dad when he was alive but having an OBS f-150 really put the training wheels on for me working on my own
@jamesearl8198 I would check the wiring, the fusible link, and the regulator. I haven’t personally had any of those go but worth looking into. Good luck!

Why do you have to clip the wires? Why can't you just pull the original plug with the wires attached from the alternator?
What size were the wire connectors needed for the 3 wires?
Did a new battery and alternator but won’t charge battery help please
