Context bruh. I'm not okay with virtuosa soloing one side of enemies when shes close to death versus degen dying at the end of the stage when there are no enemies left :)))
another day of regretting not rerolling my account until I got thorns on the newbie banner (I got weedy and she's basically useless from what I can tell) but at the time I was oblivious
Weedy is great but she's definitely not newbie friendly. I had the same feelings about my newbie banner before coz I got Magallan. It's okay! You can replace thorns with multiple units to meet the dps requirement or I'm sure there are other strats in youtube you can do :) one day you'll randomly get thorns or he'll be in the standard rotation.
I've been playing for 4 years and have most of the 6 stars but i dont think i've used thorns in a year or so. Especially for high difficulty content he is not doing much good i believe. I think texas alter, eyja or gg, surtr*, nearl alter and typhoon or chen alter are the operators everyone must have. I'm aware texasalt is limited but she is the one i used the most after she came out, her and eyja. I also wanted to say the real powercreep W alter is on the way and there is Shu too. Degenbrecher is also really good because of her unique talent but you should definitely save up for those two and not worry about thorns as they far outshine thorns in many ways. Edit: I forgot to add 'in my opinion' as all this is just my humble take on what you said. Didnt mean to act so entitled sorry

I have other strong units including degen and typhon but yeah thorns tends to appear a lot in these kinds of videos so I kinda regret just rolling with weedy as I don't think I've ever seen anyone use her outside of meme content
I cant really say coz I dont have exu but it's worth a shot. You can honestly just replace degen with a defender and typhon with a caster like eyja or gg.

RS-7, don't have Typhon so I used Eyja, and brought Nightingale because otherwise the auto deploy wasn't reliable. Thank you!
I was gonna suggest Ifrit instead of typhon if you didn't have her, but I guess that works, too! Glad it worked out for you with an extra healer!

Yes! You should be able to do it with L7 degen :) it will be easier with masteries tho
