Love, Death + Robots is by far one of my favorite shows. Such simple stories, and yet each one captures different aspects the human condition so incredibly well.

It's rare of a kind, this idea of different stories is a masterpiece, hopefully there are more new shows who do this kind of idea and with like some kind of crossover. You can do so much with this idea..

I really love how his death isn’t acknowledged by anyone other than the viewer. The lady could’ve heard the gunshot and came out and witnessed what took place. But he dies alone and fulfilled. A pure sacrifice for something he cared about. Which was life. And living it.

I love this episode. It's about how bad some parents are where, for their own selfish reasons, they bring children to the world to fullfill their wishes while not giving a rat's ass about the kid. Like Melanie's mother. She said she had the kid because she hated her life and herself and she was using Melanie to feel good like a cigarette or a donut. She knew either she, Melanie or both of them would be killed by the police, so she knew that Melanie would die or grow up without a mother which would fuck her head up. She was raising Melanie in homeless/ squatter conditions, she wouldn't even be able to buy age appropriate medicine for Melanie or ask for anybody's advice on how to treat her should she get sick (which was a guarantee seeing their living conditions) which would probably debilitate Melanie's health. And she tried to kill a person in front of her daughter which would traumatize Melanie forever. This episode had great insight on how many kids "die" either physically or phsychologically because their parents are mentaly ill people who just have children for their own spoilled reasons and don't really care about the children and pretend that just because the kids are alive that they are doing a good job and that they are good people while raising the kids in horrible environments giving them physical and/or mental illness. Plus the ending shows how people hurt themselves when they try to help mentaly ill people. Simply beautiful
