This is absolutely brilliant!! The purple holds with grey volumes immediately reminded me of the crack boulder from our Norway trip 😅 Psyched to see the Crack Trainers coming back out 💪 Nice work guys 😀👏
I would've expected such a heinous boulder from Pete, but Emil setting the crack problem? He was really on a mission to break the both of you LOL. Great video as always :)
Isn't that exactly the spirit of climbing? Instead of grabbing a ladder or going up the back, we find the hardest way possible, and then try to make that one easier.
This was a really fun video to watch! The dynamic between you two is great, and it's very interesting to see the differences in your climbing style. Also just always so impressed with how easy you make everything look! :)
It's nice to see someone who climbs more like I do. People like Emil and Magnus tend to power through problems and are less technical. So it helps me more to see your style of climbing.
Love the vids Matilda!, the contrast in styles between Emil and yourself is very interesting to watch, you both solve things so differently and inspire each other to try new methods and iron out inefficiencies in each others beta's. 💪🙌
Emil really created a savage monster with that first boulder... goodness. That's how you grow as a climber tho I suppose, pushing those boundaries. Great efforts from both of you.
Emil can definitely make really hard moves look casual, especially with large compression moves where he just kind of floats. But Mathilda's composure and control while climbing is really unbelievable. Massively inspiring to watch you guys climb!
Mathilda you are honestly inhuman!! You made everything look so smooth and easy! I love watching you and Emil climb too because you both have quite opposite styles but make the sessions work so well together!
"Once you get the fist and the toe hook you can fight...". Sounds easy enough... Also I think Emil at 13:30 is everyone of us at home when watching Matilda go into super-human mode ;-) Love the vibe of you guys climbing together!
Every time my gym sets a crack, I always put in some good tries on it even when it's way above my level. I hope they see me climbing them and decide to set more.
What a crazy climb! I've only gotten to do one foot led crack before in a gym and it was one of my favorites, wish we had Emil setting over here lol. And its definitely tiring in a way like no other form of climbing. Great video!
I'm pretty sure, that u can skip whole starting seaquence just by lock off on the left and cross right into the crack from starting toe hook, it looks very promising, then it just to hold on to two jams by getting right foot closer to the volume. Not sure 100% but it looks so so doable. Looks fun tho)
After the first few tries, I would have accused Emil of not knowing how to set a crack boulder and walked away. Summoning inner demons to climb it? I'm pretty sure it was Emil's inner demons who set it.
Hi, is it combien (French) I hear called for encouragement? Or is it another Swedish word? I’ve heard it a lot and wondered if it was combien, is it a climbing thing in Sweden to use it or just common use in sports.
Probably 'kom igen', where 'g' is pronounced like 'y', literally 'come again', Swedish for 'come on!', notice them switching from English to Swedish at around 7:42
Definitely kom igen. Although to be fair climbers use words like allez and gamba all the time regardless of their nationality, so encouragement in different languages is a thing 😄
Since you are so ridiculously strong in the style, I'd love to see you trying moonboard benchmarks and see how high you can go. They're ridiculously sandbagged but you can probably still do 8A or 8A+
I see 7A+ crimps, Matilda gets on it and grades it at 5a jugs. 😂, how do you do that? Would appreciate a video explaining ur thought process when it comes to crimping and moving. Not gonna lie, it is my style too but how precise you are on them is just another level.
This is absolutely brilliant!! The purple holds with grey volumes immediately reminded me of the crack boulder from our Norway trip 😅
Psyched to see the Crack Trainers coming back out 💪
Nice work guys 😀👏
Thanks Pete! It was definitely inspired by the boulder you set 😄 More crack climbing to come!
Good times for crack climbing 😃
My favorite Crackheads in the comments!
Matilda in the Cellar when?
Haha, as soon as a crack bouldering video is online, the WideBoys show up immediately. 🤣
I would've expected such a heinous boulder from Pete, but Emil setting the crack problem? He was really on a mission to break the both of you LOL. Great video as always :)
Mission accomplished haha 😵 thank you!
Emil: powerscream
Matilda: AAAAAAH🐯😌
The first 30-50 seconds of each try can be reduced to the most convoluted hand swap I've witnessed on TH-cam.
haha we tried it and it was just too painful on the knuckles + wrist to be possbile to do more than once.. I spent 3 h trying the boulder lol
Isn't that exactly the spirit of climbing? Instead of grabbing a ladder or going up the back, we find the hardest way possible, and then try to make that one easier.
@@chaozzah Yes, I should have said 'described' instead of 'reduced', though, I liked the sequence as they tried it because it was just so fun.
I love how you walk away from problems. It's very relatable and gives a different picture of what trying hard looks like.
Emil is a tiger on the wall and a labrador off the wall
😂

emil's laugh at @13:58 is so evil, hahahahahaha.
i can hear him thinking "flash v11, will you?"
Hahaha
Cannot wait for the next one!!! This channel will be huge
Thank you so much 🙏❤️
Mooom, Emil set the crux to silence again…
🫣

I like the good mood vibe. Two people enjoying their time together.
5:05 "I was starting to get too high on the crack"
Emil can definitely make really hard moves look casual, especially with large compression moves where he just kind of floats. But Mathilda's composure and control while climbing is really unbelievable. Massively inspiring to watch you guys climb!
Always love the videos featuring Emil and you, good effort 💙💛
Thank you 😁
just came from wide boyz new video, and you’re also climbing a crack boulder, sick!!
Nice! my crack climbing skills are not on par with the wide boyz (yet) haha, but I hope it's entertaining
Du har underbar positiv energi! Hoppas du lägger upp fler videos framöver! Lycka till med klättringen 😊
It’s coincidentally been a week of awesome uploads in the climbing TH-cam community; glad to see you put out a banger too!😁
Thank you! 😁
Mathilda you are honestly inhuman!! You made everything look so smooth and easy! I love watching you and Emil climb too because you both have quite opposite styles but make the sessions work so well together!
She's an elf, most surely. Tall, slender, beautiful - and strong as hell.
Haha thank you! It’s really fun climbing with Emil and our styles are almost polar opposites 😅
It’s so delightful to watch the differences between your climbing styles!
It's really nice to see the movement efficiency evolution. Even though you didn't complete it, I bet you would in the next section.
Matilda I absolutely love the little words/sounds you make when Emil is climbing 😂 "olalalala"
😂
Love to see something like this in IFSC climbing comps
So cool that you have a channel now! Thank you :D
Thank you! More videos to come 😊
Such a wholesome video with great climbing! ❤
You're making great quality content, videos are so much fun!
Thank you so much 😁
Great video. Loving your channel, Matilda. You and Emil looked like you had a lot of fun. Amazing climbing.
Thank you so much!

Always like the positive role model of stopping when your finger feels tweaky!
Emil, Matilda, awesome effort - wow. Thanks for another super cool video Matilda, helps a lot! :)
Thank you!
I love this! Please keep the uploads coming 😄
Thank you! Next video is out later today :)
Simp
Try 3 hrs on a crack problem, then Pete Whittaker comes and flashes it 🤣🤣. Unbelievable on the 8a, absolutely amazing climbing 👏👏
Pete probably would have hiked it like it’s nothing haha! Thank you 😁
Another fab video - keep them coming! Love your channel and your energy - great to see another female climber crushing!!🎉
Thank you so much 😁
🗽 After a 3 h bouldering session today with a lot of hard coordination-dynos I watch Matilda and Emil... 👌👍❤
.
Awesome video Matilda
thank you!
Loving the quality of these videos!
Thank you so much!
I wish there were more crack boulders at gyms. These look so fun.
Every time my gym sets a crack, I always put in some good tries on it even when it's way above my level. I hope they see me climbing them and decide to set more.
Well I always try to climb them but still waiting for even one jam to turn out holding :)
Great video! We all could learn a lot from watching your pristine technique 🔥
Thank you!
Loving the videos so far. The 8a looked like you were on a ladder 😯💪
Thanks 😁
What a crazy climb! I've only gotten to do one foot led crack before in a gym and it was one of my favorites, wish we had Emil setting over here lol. And its definitely tiring in a way like no other form of climbing. Great video!
It was an insane boulder haha! Thank you 😊
Emil gets a sweaty arse too. I can’t be embarrassed now 😂
Also the moumo gym gets pretty hot, especially in the warmer months. It's a real nice gym but a bit warm!
Really good entertaining video, you both have a nice connection.
Thank you 😊
Yet again, another great upload 💯
Thank you 🙏😊
I love the @Jonathan_sin88 "Ooh La La" @20:08. Great content Matilda, keep it up!
haha! Thank you!
Yeees lovely vids with lovely guests
This reminds me of the Silence crux
Nice content the last few videos💪💪 keep it up 🙃
thank you so much!
It's fun seeing pro climbers on problems that I have tried myself, I tried both yellow problems in this video in the ensemble event :)
Oh nice! The last yellow was one of my favorites 😊
Two great sessions!

Comie-here for sure....that was a cracking boulder problem.
"Emil was broken" 😂😂😂
good vid! good vibes
After the first few tries, I would have accused Emil of not knowing how to set a crack boulder and walked away. Summoning inner demons to climb it? I'm pretty sure it was Emil's inner demons who set it.
Haha I agree 😈
try hard sessions are so fun! You guys had that crack in the bag if they hadn't removed it, cheers!
they are indeed (I was destroyed a week after the crack though haha)
Great video Matilda!
Thank you 😁
Cruising the 8A like it´s nothing.... so strong!!!
Thank you 😁

Definitely kom igen. Although to be fair climbers use words like allez and gamba all the time regardless of their nationality, so encouragement in different languages is a thing 😄
This looks sooo hard, what a low start too
another great video!
are you by any chance planning to include some lead climbing also? :)
Thank you! I’m planning some outdoor videos :)
i know we'll be seeing you in the cellar eventually. awesome try hard.
'We're going to need to summon some inner demons to climb this one' - Emil Abrahamson. Put it on a shirt, or I will. 😅😅😅😅😅😅😅😅
😂😂

I’ve climbed on the moon board quite a lot, but not so much after I injured my finger. But might be time to start again now 😁
Mathemil deliver!
55 degrees of excuses 😂😂
you guys should totally film a board sesh
great video, keep it going :)
Thank you 😁
Great vid
Thank you!
Love it

Haha! Thanks 😊 I’m working on some training videos!
That crack climb looked brutal
It really was
As someone who doesnt climb, this seems psychopathic lol. Though big ups, this is so inspiring!!!
Haha! Thank you 😊
14:05 use your palms not your thumbs
14:27 uses mostly thumbs anyway
😅
You made crack dad Pete very happy, wait that doesn't sound right.....Anyhoots good effort!
😂 thank you!
Omg that 8A.....
"you have no idea what it's like to be human" 👀👽
@@pfeifn7133 🤷♀️😂
verry great video :)
Thank you 😁
Finns det fler sprickor o klättra på momou?
Dom sitter just nu under campusboarden 😊
pro climbers who travel the world have to at least learn to say "cmon" in like 4 different languages. also "f**k". haha. you guys are lookin strong.
I think I can say come on it at least 10 languages haha. Thanks!
crushers!
nice "crack" sweat - hehe
Indian Creek trip when?
Another cool Female climber!!! i wish i could meet one!!!
Talk about needing to be a discreet camera person...geez. That said, holy cow an amazingly difficult problem...wow. Shirts off Emil 😄

Your facial expression in the thumbnail 😂
