My knockoff buggy was delivered today!!🎉🎉
I ordered from Temu five days ago.
I requested local delivery so it only took 4 days.
Mine is blue and a little bigger. My basket is 14 in wide by 19 inches long. Mine only comes w one folding basket, but I have another folding basket that I got from Dollar tree. It's one of the cloth ones, but mine was less than half ($80) what WM & Amazon is selling it for ($260).
I tested it out. It holds 4 24-packs of water on the bottom or two of those packs and I put my cloth folding basket behind it.
On the top, I am able to compartmentalize my groceries, and put my freezer bag in there for my meats and perishables, and just lift it into my little toyota. I can fold down the cart with one hand 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾😊.
Yayyyy!!! No more nutty Buggy or wiggly Wheels🎉
My handle is a little more reclined. I am 4'11" and hubs is 6'4" & he's not hunched over it at all.
    It's wonderful!!

You also mentioned that you are going camping! Hubs and I were trying to think of getting into the RV craze last year. But then we looked at each other and we definitely didn't want what would come out to be the equivalent of two more car payments or a small house payment!
So we researched about 3 days of TH-cam videos & purchased a popup tent (it pops up in less than 5 minutes) and has a 7 ft ceiling and he can stand up in it. Some people consider it extra, but we're not some people and we don't care😂
    We nicknamed it the GazelleHotel😊
Ours was right around the $200 mark but I think they stopped making the one we have. Now they're all $300 or more😢
We check out the State park pass from the local library for free admission to the state parks. It also comes with a free family pass for free admission to local historic sites.
We love to take day trips, hikes, picnics and visit various parks on a saturday. The admission is free with the pass. And then we scout out the campsites at the state parks. The admission is free, but the campsites are reserved w payment. We also earn points toward free nights.
We have camped in the north Georgia mountains, west and north on the borderline to the Carolinas. We have camped at the Corps of Engineer parks where there are campsites on the water (the sun rises are daBOMB!!)
When we take our day trips, we take notes of different parks' campsites (if the gravel is fine or rough, how close it is to a rest area or a playground (being empty nesters, we kind of don't want to be near a playground), if there is a fire department, police station, Dollar General nearby😂), we look at the camp pads to see if they are set back, if walking trails are behind them, how the rain might run off, etc.) and what the amenities are in the area (lakes, waterfalls, historic ruins, festivals, etc.)
Then we head back home and we look online for the days that will coincide with my vacations off with the school system and we book the best sites that we think will accommodate us.
We only do campsites with water and electricity.
We found the only state park in Georgia that has covered platforms with electric and water for tents ONLY. This park has eight of them & an ADA site as well.
The RVs are far enough away for you to enjoy your own covered elevated platform, fire ring, water, etcetera and not have to deal with fumes and generators. It is our absolute favorite park. We've already booked our sight for New Year's Eve😊
We have a 2 ft full size inflatable air mattress that has a built-in inflator/deflator. Our most recent trip we were able to change our reservation at one park due to storm damage without penalty. We went to the border of the North Georgia mountains and reserved an equestrian site (horse not required 😂). It was so peaceful! It's at a park that has one of the last covered bridges in the state of Georgia. The bridge was built by the son of a former slave and it is still in operation.
The night temps got down to the low 40s, but we also bring our oscillating heater. The tent stayed at 72° all night. It was absolutely heaven!
We have a separate "chillax" pop up tent to prepare meals and eat in. (Because you're never ever ever ever supposed to eat in your sleeping tent. Our tent neighbors found that out the hard way when their little ones ate popcorn inside their tent and they had some raccoon visitors that night😮 I'm just glad it wasn't a bear).
It's 11' x 11' and folds into a 2 1/2 ft circle. (Werph off Amazon). I like it because it comes with two roof rods to keep it from inverting while we're inside. We have a folding pop-up table that extends up to 4 ft.
I cook and freeze all our meals and we bring our air fryer to reheat. Our menu is usually salmon, smoked chicken, and one other meat. Last time I had barbecued a pork loin in the crock pot & froze & brought the little mini potatoes with us. Breakfast is usually oatmeal w fruit or grits (I bring a little hot pot to heat the water in).
I also make Korean sweet potatoes, and then we sprinkle mixed vegetables from the little cups from Dollar tree. We can split one cup.
I also make sure we have the small oranges, apples, and sometimes grapes that I have washed with baking soda and lemon juice at home. Put everything in its own separate Rubbermaid container. The fruit lasts 5 days without refrigeration.
We freeze all our meals in heavy-duty foil and I bring our Coleman cooler that I line with reflectix.
We freeze water bottles and put them in the bottom and then I have two shallow trays that I put the meals in and then we freeze rectangular juice as well and put those on top. As it defrosts, it's perfect because we water down our juices anyway.
Still, we have been ostracized and called 'fakecampers.' All I know is, since last May when we made this decision to start camping, we have camped at five locations in 6 months and it's the best experience I've ever had.
We pack our kitchen essentials in a bin, we also use interlocking foam flooring that we got at Harbor Freight to go underneath the tent. I made a carry bag out of a Dollar tree tarp. I use handy racks, which are inflatable removable racks that go on top of the car so that we can carry the tent & our chairs. We really put that Toyota hatchback to work😂 I feel like our car is a turtle, but once we ratchet everything down, watch out! Here we come😊
Nice to see a kindred spirit!
    Happy camping! 🏕️
