It is a great point and to elaborate a bit further... Basically if/when you fly a wing you have most likely noticed if your "front hand" is shorter than your "back hand" the wing does not generate the same power as if your front hand is longer or more extended than your back hand. So the reason why your hands or arms (depending what word you want to use) have different flexion while pumping and/or riding to optimize the position of the wing to capture as much wind as possible while riding/pumping.
@@charlesosterlund7303 till now my experience (with a non extended front arm) was that the front of the wing goes down to water, especially in light wind conditions. and I always had to compensate this movement with my back arm. with your tipp this problem doesn`t accur anymore. I´ve never read about this tipp before...
