Yeah so he knows that the Czech justice system will just slap him on the wrist and let go. This is the worst type of scammer, because he's not afraid of the punishment, it's basically a cost of running the business at this point. The fact that you film him and call the police means nothing, it's just a thing that happens once in a while and needs to be dealt with (like a flat tyre in delivery truck). Also, deportation won't happen: according to current EU law, it's very difficult to deport an EU citizen. I know a few people like him. They collect tickets, fines, and sentences like post stamps. They don't care, because they never cross the line to actually go to prison for extended period of time, and even if they are ordered to pay a hefty fine, this won't happen, because legally speaking, they don't have income, and all their possessions amount to less than the camera you use for filming this video. I'm more in doubt if it would look like vandlism or the banks owning the ATM's would complain, but then a dialogue could be established asking them to code the message in during the cash withdrawl.
But it is probably wishfull thinking on my part.
Or use common sense. This scam is ancient. But hey i still remember getting leaflet "how not to get mugged" in nyc.
@@sagatlike3393 i would love a copy of one of those, it would be a nice "remember not everyone have common sense" token.
I am just here to tell you that probably one of the best top 10 amazing content you tuber in the world !! Well done and congratulations
Thanks guys…..you are great.👍🏻
I have travelled a lot, but I have only experienced scammers twice - once in London (lost £20) and once in Prague (which I didn't fall for).
Thank you, Gents. You are doing good and valuable work, but please be careful.
Subscribed!
Clearly the system is not working well enough. These criminals need to be put away longer.
I love you guys and have been watching for years. I'm planning to go to Prague with my girlfriend and I'm glad I know where to eat, where to go and where not to be ripped off. I would like every country to have people like you who love their city like you love Prague. I hope we can see you!
Travelers can't trust people approaching them offering help.
Well done. It takes bravery and intelligence to stop these people.
Thank you for all your bravery, hard work and investigation. 🙏
It would be very funny if you somehow taped a paper on the scammers backs that says that he is a scammer and just let them go along with their day until they notice it
He needs a tattoo on his face since the law doesn't punish him.
@RollinRat your poor kids...😢
@RollinRat well done and congratulations to her, you, and your family. "Spare the rod, spoil the child" rarely turns out so well.
And in front of the "classic" Prague Ham stand! Great job guys!
Keep up the good work bud from 🇬🇧 we need to stop these dirty scammers !! We have guys over here who also do TH-cam clips to alert tourists of uk scams
You are all HEROS...THANK YOU👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Yeah so he knows that the Czech justice system will just slap him on the wrist and let go.
You say he already had 6 criminal records in Czechia. Now he has seven. What difference do you realistically expect the eight one to make?
Those records are probably for some minor acts. Now when he is in the probation period, the next offence will be punished by 6 months in jail.
@@ondra10192 No. The 3 year probation is instead of jail. If he gets next offence he will get 6 months + additional jail time for this new offence. I believe.
@@ondra10192 So he just punch a guy multiple times in front off many people and even that is not offense
You guys do a fantastic job. Keep up the good work.
This shows how useless and gullible the justice system is.
Awesome job guys. You`re a heroes! Keep doing what you do.
thank you so much for making Czech a safer place for visitors❤ u guys r heroes
Brilliant. You do have to take justice into your own hands with these criminal scumbags.
Yeah, cause their laws appear to be too soft.
And when you do the cops will arrest YOU, not the scammer
@@dustojnikhummer Eh no, I am typing that they should act like those in the video. Why do people assume you have to act violently when taking justice into your own hands!? Just investigate.
What justice was that? Guy was on the streets 20min later. You guys are deluded.
ONCE a criminal, always a criminal. They don't change.
Thanks for the information, very useful. I'll be in Prague during June for a few days so have been watching many of your very helpful videos.
Always a good day when you guys upload 😎
Should make sure every tourist who lands at the airport can get information on the most common scams.
Great idea, if they can print and hand them to each one arriving
Or just a nice little poster board around baggage claim area!! Take a photo of these people !
I got money stolen from my backpack in Prague airport before it even got to the baggage carousel... put me off ever going back there.
@Debs - Bassist Yes, thanks. I usually keep my money on me but, that time that I didn't, there was an announcement at the departure gate saying the flight was full and people could put carry on into the hold for no extra. I just jumped to a decision despite the fact my backpack would probably have gone under the seat in front. I certainly haven't done that since.
@@NeilD_Videos that doesn't make sense to me. One bad apple doesn't mean the rest of the fruit on the tree is bad.
I like how Billy was stopped in front of the overcharging meat shop.
Thatwas exactly my thought. 😁
What Batman does for Gotham, you do for Prague(And also other places in the world, because you make us aware of the scams and how to avoid them all over the world). A true hero!
Continue your good work, guys!
When I was in Prague some 20 years ago there were some disgusting Gipsy women on Wenzelsplatz who tried to lure men into small streets where they eventually got robbed.
Excellent job guys respect from the uk
Its interesting listen to your language as a kid born in latvia who lived all his life in usa and also speaks ukrainian find it fascinating that i can understand some of your local speach
Are you also Ukrainian by nationality or you Learned separately
I noticed those Czech words having similar like Dobre Rana Good Early morning
Dobre Utro good morning
Seems like a bit of a joke that he can keep going while on parole. he even went back to scamming 5 minutes after being let go from the police station.
God bless to this man for exposing the gangs. Well done buddy good job👍♥️
The insane truth is that most scammers go free with zero consequence.
"I'll sue you!"
A muscular looking Karen I see.
I think I speak for everyone when I say they are really the superheros of praque
You probably don’t speak for Trump, Putin, Assad and other crazy past and present leaders but likely for most others.
@@markreynolds9135 I take "drugs" daily, but even I don't talk nonsense like that
@@markreynolds9135 I mean you have a point but he still helps the people who travel. Its a travel channel not a political one. Even though politics and laws need to be enforced for these scammers its not really his job and he already helps by putting videos up.
@@markreynolds9135 When you actually bother mentioning Trump, Putin and Assad completely out of context. Not to mention you actually mentioned Trump in the same context as Putin or Assad. Compared to Assad and Putin what bad things has Trump even really done?
Get one of those recording glasses so that you can film his scam in POV. Billy is going to feel much more secure and you get your footage!
I really appreciate the blurring for not showing us who the thief is maahahahahahha you guys are awesome
Unbelievable putting a career criminal on probation
Thank you for your work, btw i love your pr for your country and city.
Best wishes from nothern Germany
I have a serious question,
Why don't they put pictures of the old bills that are no longer in use around ATM's,
so tourists know their fakes???
Huge thanks for your videos and I hope the city's would reward you for your work.
They're not even from Czech. You'd think the 'Belarus' would be pretty easy to spot! I'd love to know WHERE the scammers get all those old bills. Maybe drying up their supply would end this?
We, the tourists, the most we lose is money. But you guys please be very careful of them, i often worry about your safety.
I am watching your videos for so long now and I still love the music at 3:00 😂 As soon as I hear this epic music I go get some popcorn and enjoy the action 😄
Thanks for the video.
I will share this to my family who plan to travel to Europe this summer. Keep up the good work.
It’s crazy to see how different the legal system operates there as well…more videos on that would be cool.
I guess you should follow Billy's steps as his parole ends soon. If you catch him soon, he will go to jail.
Can't understand how special recidivist can get parole..
There needs to be some community scammer tracker. When you see them, take a picture, identify them if you can, and geotag it.
Every city need one Honest guide...good job guy ✌️
The System is Broken !!! We need thief's and scammers to be punished to the full extent of the law.
If he had the rubles, then he was going equipped to commit the crime he was on parole for
Can I suggest to call the cops earlier while following the scammers and approach them just seconds before they actually arrive so that if the scammer starts running, the police are going to be alerted and they would start chasing him to see what's going on.. this way you have 100% rate of success getting them arrested and you're not risking to be hurt
I love the "attempt" at blurring the face. But it wanders around from time to time LOL
He physically assaults you and the police let him go??? Bad laws or corruption
Bad laws, sadly.
Same is happening in NY. No matter what criminals are doing, the court will immediately release them.
Thank you lots for your effort! I have two questions :
- did you not press charges? After all he punched you.
- is it legal in the Czech Republic to film people? I just know in Germany, despite those being criminals, you could get in trouble yourself for violating their privacy (yep, twisted).
You guys are doing a good job. Please open a counter in your airport and advise all tourists of this scam.....That guy should have been canned for atleast 5 years....and he's running free....this is insane
I Personally find that scammers getting harassed video is the best kind of content on youtube
If he attacked you, this is another felony. Press charges and he is gone!
But there wasn't any proof that he attacked him.
@@GiannisPehl All the witnesses that called the cops.
0:14 the two korean guys 😂😂😂
Keep up the fantastic work Janek !! its Brilliant !! )
I am flabbergasted he was treated so leniently. As a suspect ON PROBATION and a habitual offender/recidivist he should not be getting any more breaks. society has a right to be protected from guys like this.
Lol the attempt to block the scammers face was fun.
