I'll put the comment here as I put in the chat section: Now it would be really nice to hear Valvebucker in metal context; I got interested in how&what way it is different when in extreme gain 🙂
The presenter is absolutely amazing. For me the valvebucker was something nobody could explain, you gotta get one to know what's what. Until this video happened. One side question. Where does this system stays in terms of hum-noise? It's kind of a humbucker but is also very sensitive. Does it mean it gets more hum?
Thank you so much! The noise seems to be in the same ballpark as a regular humbucker to me. I didn't notice any extraneous noise, if anything, it was even less.
Extended harmonic range and the beautiful (natural) flavor of tubes. It’s all about perception of the listener or player and I have yet to see someone play them and say, meh it’s ok , while there are very few examples, in every one I’ve seen the eyes of the player brighten up as they hear the sound as if they were a child and a large cake was brought into the room. Sound so good ya wanna eat it up! *Do not try to eat these guitars

I'll record something and make it accessible via Juha. :)
@@RubenRoeh Would be nice, thanks a lot! :-)

I wonder what the recorded sound would be like if it was delivered through a valve amp and sourced from a turntable. Just curious 🤔
Right…a mic pre. Still fun tho!
