I remember growing up in the Philippines as a kid we are really looking forward to Undas because of the family reunion, so much kakanin to eat and collecting leftover candles as a game whoever can make a bigger ball. Don’t know why but everytime it will rain during All Saint’s Day or All Soul’s Day. 😊
Yes, I also observed why it will rain during Undas, and in our place in Baguio I remember it will always be the last rain for the year, not sure now because I have never been living in Baguio for the past 30 years
When you get married to a Pinoy or Pinay you married the whole clan I was only child when I married my late husband I've got instant brothers and sisters and I'm glad ! AMPING !!!
Therine can call Kulas mom “mama” or even “mom” if your mom will allow it. Its a sign of respect than simply calling your mom by first name. But kulas mom has to agree to it, all therine has to do is ask. My daughter married a white american and she asked if her husband can call me Mom or inay and i said maybe tita. My daughter didnt like d Tita so we settled on d Mama. My daughter asked her husband’s Mom n Dad if she can call them Mom n Dad and they were ecstatic. Made my daughter feel closer and accepted. So its a matter of asking, so Therine, just ask. A lot of american in law parents r just called by their first names and thats fine too, but Therine can adopt d Pinoy culture of how to address d inlaws and relatives of Kulas side as Mom, dad, uncle , auntie, ninong etc. Just a suggestion.😊
Im.very hqppy seeing u Kulas and Therine.love u guys 👍☺️🤗♥️its good u came back from.Saudi Arabia u both safe.and 1st time Kulas experiencing going around to the relatives and going to cemetery he knows now our tradition. yeah little by little bcos he's Pilipino Citizen now.🇵🇭🤗♥️enjoy ur meal guys 😘😋😋😋

would like this opportunity to sharecan FYI. The meal you ate … the Puso ng Saging dish … in Pampanga is called ‘Sisig ng Puso ng Saging’ or ‘Sinisig na Puso ng Saging’. This is when ‘Aling Lucing’ (Sisig Queen) came up with the remedy to her ‘accindental burnt pig’s face’. Sisig in kapampangan slang means ‘pina-asim-ngan’ (dousing with vinegar). Another FYI … whenever cooks put eggs on their Sisig … it becomes nothing more than a glamourize Omelet. 😅😅😅
when we were kids, we used to collect those spent wax to be used to wax the wooden floor of our school to make it shiny and clean to see...school children of public schools then were grouped to a scheduled cleaners after class...🙄🤗😁
Kulas, how are you doing. Shout out to Tan̈agras family there in Maragondon, Cavite. They are my ninong Sandy's relatives... you're really a Filipino Kulas. I'm happy to see you both Kulas and Therine.❤😊

They say you need to be atleast 5'3 to operate a vehicle 🚌🚐🚛🚚🚙🛻🚗🚕🏍🛵 And Therine did those extra candles in the cemetery from melted candles 🕯🕯🕯 And you passed on the hanging bridge 🌉 It was her cousin on the road helping her from getting out 🛣 And Therine visits her Great-great-great grand parents in the cemetery who died more than a half a century ago 🪦 And the one you saw visit there daughter and grandparents grave on the cemetery 🪦🪦

youre actually correct in there Kulas. kakanin symbolized the bond of families because of the "stickiness" especially biko and suman.
Hello Kulas and beautiful Therine, happy all Saint's day and happy halloween 🎃 enjoy and stay safe ❤ 👍🏻💖👍🏻💕👍🏻💞
Therine can ask your mom and dad if she can call them mom/dad. It's a way Filipinos show respect .
Welcome to the philippines🎉🎉🎉
In UK,you can call your in laws, mum or dad,in Phil.,it is very awkward to address your inlaws in their first names,it is considered very rude as well.
Laudable Filipino tradition
