The only downside of this tool I have picked up are the gaps on the laser beam that you notice because of the black solid corner pieces that support the lenses

Hey! Do you know how to use the lock function? I have one and a coworker said that the lock function is very functional when trying to level or install ceilings that have certain degree of inclination. However I’m having a hard time trying to make it work. Any advice or resources I can look at? Thanks!
