This list is incredible, we can always count on y’all to put together the list that matters You know i always have something to add 😂😂 I can’t put free at last in front of Buck the world on my list & while the documentary is an absolute classic, in the last 7yrs or so I like str8 outta cashville at the number 1 spot & the documentary at 2😬
Unpopular opinion: GRODT soundtrack is the last classic from the label. I also would've put the scrappy album higher but the list was damn near perfect, totally agree with the top 4
You got majority of the rankings right in my opinion but the only change I would make is putting young buck”buck the world” a bit higher, I can honestly say he’s the only G-unit solo member that dropped 2 classic albums back to back, his situation with 50 was the reason that album didn’t get the look the first did, but the album had little to no skips
They didn’t fallout yet, hip hop was just changing. They were counting on bucks album to bring in money for g unit. That’s why buck at the time was calling himself the clean up man. Also that’s why fif gave buck two Dre tracks to help with quality.
Classic Albums. Would be cool to see you rank the G-Unit Radio mixtape series. A lot of G-Unit artist got their own dedicated tapes, like Freeway Mase Spider Loc Mobb Deep
Not a bad list at all. As a southern, Buck’s versatility to rap over East Coast beats is something that should always be mentioned when discussing regions. Some of those joint albums surprised me, as I didn’t even know they existed
another stellar ranking, you guys!!! i have to say that i feel that young buck was a huge talent and i am sorry his career did not develop like it should have... he could easily be as big as young jeezy or t.i!
Buck the World is a severely underrated album. This is Bucks dirty south album. The first had a great G Unit formula and introduction but Buck the World felt like him
The reason why the documentary stands out above the aforementioned g unit albums is that it’s also an aftermath album. You had two of the best chefs in the kitchen with Dre and 50. Too bad this didn’t work for scrappy as much with fif and lil jon.
I felt like I was to the only one who noticed that eye for an eye and smile intro was the same 👍... List is on point I just would've put beg for mercy at 2
I keep revisiting this list as they are my favorite label and artists. Really need a G-Unit Radio mixtape list or G-Unit mixtape list in general. Also still need those Eminem, Shady Records and Aftermath Records lists as well.
Okay, coming back to this just to say, if you EVER do a mixtape rankings list you gotta do one on the legendary G-Unit Radio runs in 2003 to 2007, that list will be a long one but it's one we GOTTA have at some point if you go down the mixtape rabbithole.
#1 Beg For Mercy #2 Documentary Then adjust accordingly. But I agree with the rest of the list. Beg For Mercy feels; sounds, smells, and looks like a quintessential G-Unit album. So if we're ranking music that came out from G-Unit , I feel like that should be the #1 spot.
Please do one on Young Buck. Of course we know the outcome on the #1 and #2 albums, but I need some recommendations on his other stuff, because he put out more products than Ali express
How did The Documentary get number 1 with them mediocre name dropping rhymes he uses over and over. Dre beats and 50 hooks was the only things carrying this album.
@@CulturalistTheory hell yes, his first album was dope, but Buck The World was a near classic. The singles were harder, the song writing was better, Buck was also a little more compassionate, less materialistic, and more self reflective. It was like a southern version of Me Against the world 😆😆😆😆😆
I hate the fact yall left out Hi-Tek, when mentioning the producers of Beg 4 Mercy, That Intro was the best track on their. Hi Tek for a minute was the vice president of Aftermath.
I'm surprised you put Buck over Banks. I live in the south so I'm cool with it just not used to others agreeing with those thoughts. I'd personally put TOS a bit higher but overall solid list. Can't argue the number one, regardless of who did what on the album, it's a classic
My top 5 from G-Unit records, after a thinking it through. 1. Hunger For More 2. The Documentary 3. Straight Outta Cashville 4. Beg For Mercy 5. GRODT Soundtrack/Buck The World Young Buck, to give him credit, was the only one to drop more than 1 strong solo album back to back. 50 has 1 really strong album and one good, but not great album. Banks had HFM, but then Rotten Apple. Game and Yayo had only 1 album each.
Can't argue with this list documentary should definitely be number 1 🙌🏾 game still going strong out of everyone from the unit that drillmatic is 🔥🔥🔥 and banks came back strong too 💪🏿
Cool Jersey looks good on you.. I love hockey jerseys. If I was you Id buy some Chicago Blackhawk jerseys (the one with Indian Cheif) before it gets cancelled.. it will be sought after if it does. Just like Washington Redskins logo memorabilia.
I wish The Game stayed yet in G Unit by the time Mobb Deep joined. The track he had with Prodigy, Dead Bodies, on Alchemist"s 1st Infantry album is very nice. And one of my favorite tracks from The Documentary is produced by Havoc, I dont need your love. Also the collabs between Young Buck and Mobb Deep were fire, give it to me and project niggaz, I also wish they did more together. I think if they were able to avoid all the bs and drama, and to work together like a team, even Dre would had dropped Detox. Imagine an album with collabs from Lloyd Banks, 50 Cent, Young Buck, The Game, Mobb Deep, Obie Trice, Eminem, Busta Rhymes, Alchemist, Nate Dogg, D12, Cashis and Stat Quo.
Watching this have you realize if G-Unit records never broke up nor fell off G-Unit would’ve been up there with YMCMB G.O.O.D. Music Maybach Music era Also including Freeway Free At Last make sense being the fact Freeway had his own G-Unit Radio tape hosted by 50 Cent & Jay Z
Great list but gotta disagree with you respectfully on the Yayo not having lyrics we couldn't remember! "You got mirrors in your pants because I see me in them" 😂🤣 Naw you right!
9:48 It's actually a good thing that Tony Yayo wasn't on G-Unit's Beg For Mercy album as much as he would've had he not been locked up at the time. Tony Yayo probably would've ruined a lot of songs on that album as everyone knows Tony Yayo is the worst rapper in the group and he's not even a good rapper to begin with
This list is incredible, we can always count on y’all to put together the list that matters

Went back and forth about the Freeway/Buck the World placement lol. Not mad at CashVille being number 1 lol
Documentary is an absolute classic, but I honestly felt Beg for Mercy is easily the best album released on G Unit records.

The soundtrack had a bunch of hits & misses thou it was classic in its own way it had a Lotta more good songs than bad

Please do a ranking of 50 cent’s best mixtapes !
1. Beg for Mercy
2. Hunger for More (interchangeable with #3)
3. Straight outta Cashville
4. Buck The World
5. GRODT Soundtrack
I can actually rock with this list. Except I would replace Buck the World with HFM2.
No documentary
@@pewstings6467 it’s not fair being it’s also an aftermath produced album. Same way it wouldn’t be fair to have get rich or massacre

I love T.O.S.... I think Yayo really held his own and was a standout on songs like Straight outta southside
1. The Documentary
2. Straight Outta Cashville
3. Beg 4 Mercy

5. GRODT Soundtrack
🎯🎯
The reason why the documentary stands out above the aforementioned g unit albums is that it’s also an aftermath album. You had two of the best chefs in the kitchen with Dre and 50. Too bad this didn’t work for scrappy as much with fif and lil jon.
You should re-do this list to include all the EP's as well. Also should do a Shady Records, Aftermath Entertainment and Eminem list as well.
I felt like I was to the only one who noticed that eye for an eye and smile intro was the same 👍... List is on point I just would've put beg for mercy at 2
Yea the documentary
Straight out of Cashville
Beg For Mercy
& HFM 1 still gets played in 2022 I agree with this list keep goin 🔥🔥🔥

That Intro for Smile and Eye For An Eye are samples from It's A Man's Word but James Brown
The Disrespect for T.O.S is crazy,I still got at least 4 joints in heavy rotation..got it at 18 behind Scrappy?
T.O.S got some bangers

Nelly, Scarface, Ice Cube, Eminem
