It reminded me to always be intentional and be determined because what is meant for me, God will make and carve a way for me. So there is reassurance in my daily life. Also to be patient and wait onto the Lord, that he will reward me when a good deed has been done & that God CAN IMMEDIATELY turn around any situation at hand to work for good, Genesis 50:20. He see's me! I feel seen and empowered that he notices me and cares about the little things that I do. It is so wonderful and beautiful that the God who created the universe, made me and wants to know me and cares for the things in my heart! How wonderful is the big God we serve. Have a blessed day!

Recognizing that “not knowing” is also God’s grace. Like with Mordecai, he had no idea of that Haman had gallows planned especially for him. But God, in His loving grace, didn’t trouble Mordecai, for He already rescued him.

Just watched this and what I got out of this study is that: Our God is a God of perfect timing , as such there are no coincidences with him. God sways the heart of men/women in whatever direction he chooses, therefore he’ll turn the hearts of people that matter in your favour. Ultimately, God can be trusted!!

God has not forgotten my needs.
Mordecai was still worried about all his people getting killed but God was in control. He showed him this by having the man so filled with anger and jealousy towards him honor him when he’d have rather killed him. His table was prepared right before him IN the presence of his enemy. There’s nothing God can’t do. Trust Him as He has not forgotten about you.
Thanks for this study sis. Somewhat new here and enjoying your content. God bless ❤

One day I was driving down the road talking to God like he was in my passenger seat, like I often do. I was thinking of all the testimonies of people I have heard of seeing Him in dreams, audibly hearing His voice out loud, having an extraordinary experience with God. I asked “God, what does it take to see you? If I am never blessed with the opportunity does that mean I am not good enough to see you? Is it selfish of me to want to SEE you?”
I immediately felt selfish and apologized for viewing it that way and if I was ever blessed enough to see You, it would be at YOUR time.
Within a millisecond of finishing that thought, a bald Eagle came out of nowhere, swooped in front of my car and caught its prey, right in front of me!
I stopped in awe and amazement and was speechless until I could realize what I just asked for and what just happened.
God is so intentional and never fails to show me signs when I ask for them, and even when I don’t and I need them. I used to feel bad asking for signs and now I love to because I know he loves to show His presence to those who believe.

Verse 5 stood out to me in the fact that Hamman was standing in the court at the very time the king decided to honor Mordecaie. He literally walked into his own judgement that day. The irony was he judged according to his self righteousness and not according to the kings (God in spirit) righteousness. Our lives are recorded in the book of life and we have to take account for all that we do in public and private.
    1. God will always fight for his people. There isn’t a battle he hasn’t won.
    2. God is always watching. What you do in secret he knows.
3.Remain humble and do what is right not just for yourself but for everyone around you. We must love each other as we love ourselves.

My application from this study is: "trusting God to position me, rather than trying to position myself." Imagine had Mordecai NOT opened his mouth about the betrayal on King Xerxes, imagine had he gone to anyone aside from his niece, even, about Haman's plans to slaughter all of the Jews. Mordecai's wisdom reminds me of Proverbs 2:6, "The Lord gives wisdom; from Him come knowledge and understanding." I'd rather get it from God than from myself, or anyone else. I don't want to miss being honored (especially in the sight of of those who intend to harm me).

My take away is: the courage, conviction and faith it took for Mordecai to not bow to Haman as was commanded of him by the king. Bowing as others did is a form of idolatry. Another thing came to mind: when something goes against your conscience, stand firm in your faith in God. There’s always deliverance in having that kind of faith.

This Chapter had my mind blown. The fact that Haman had to bow down to the very man that he had such hate for. God has the last word and if you have to rob or kill to get things, those very things were never designed for you! Haman was very full of himself thinking he should be honored after all of the hateful things he had done and planned. God said I will show you better than I can tell you!

What spoke to me most in this chapter was when Haman’s wife Zeresh told him that because Mordecai was jewish, Haman would not be successful in standing against him and surely perish. I took this to mean that because Mordecai served a mighty God, his victory was already assured. This reminded me that all things are possible through God and that even in times of great turmoil, he is moving and shifting things for our good. At times we may feel downtrodden, stuck, and not sure of what’s to come. But elsewhere, out the mouths of those closest to the enemy arises a proclamation of the Lord’s promise of our awakening, of opportunity, of blessings coming our way, of a greater union with Him, or whatever else it is we need 💖💖💖. I feel I’ve been stuck for a long, long time, but I believe as I’m currently fasting that the lord has been confirming time and time again that doors will be opening 🙌🏾. To God be the glory :))))).

This video came right on time for me!! The scripture that stood out to me the most was verse 10. The king told Hamen to make sure he was FAST AND SPEEDY in making sure Mordecai would be honored. Who knows how long ago Mordecai helped the king with that specific plot But regardless, his righteousness wasn’t forgotten and he was still rewarded for it. Sometimes living righteously can feel useless when you are waiting on God and have yet to see a reward. Especially in this day and age where you see those who are not living righteously be rewarded. But this scripture proves that God does not forget about you. He is right on time. But most importantly, when it’s your time he will move quick. So do not place a restriction on what God can do in your life. Keep trusting him and watch him work 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾 thank you for this!!!

How the scripture spoke to me
Even when I am facing difficulties in life that I can still look for ways to help others. Mordecai could have been selfish and thought of about his circumstances but instead he kept his eyes on our Father who spoke to his heart to be watchful and discerning of needed to be done to turn what was meant for evil to Good ❤

God is always moving on our behalf, his hand is never removed from us, even when we don't see it or feel it, he does things suddenly, he changes our situation in the blink of an eye, you just can never fully expect or grasp what He is about to do. Mordecai was basically just going about his day and the next thing he knows, he is being dressed in the king's robes and being honoured in the city while sitted on the king's horse

    Heavenly Father,
We come before you today with grateful hearts, recognizing your sovereignty and wisdom. As we reflect on Esther chapter 6, we are reminded of your providential hand at work in the lives of your people.
Lord, just as you orchestrated events in the life of Mordecai, we pray that you would guide and direct our steps. Help us to trust in your perfect timing and know that you have a plan and purpose for each of us.
We ask for your wisdom and discernment, just as you granted to Mordecai, so that we may make wise decisions and act with integrity in all areas of our lives. May we be faithful to you and stand firm in the face of adversity, knowing that you are with us and will never leave us nor forsake us.
Lord, we also pray for humility, as demonstrated by Mordecai when he was honored by King Xerxes. Help us to recognize that any success or honor we receive is ultimately from you, and may we use it to bring glory to your name.
Finally, we pray for protection and deliverance, just as you saved Mordecai from the plot of Haman. Protect us from the schemes of the enemy and deliver us from any harm or danger that may come our way. May we find comfort and refuge in your loving arms.
We thank you, Lord, for the timeless lessons we learn from the book of Esther. May we apply these truths to our lives and continue to grow in faith and obedience. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

I love how when Haman was grieving and he went home to his support system, I was shocked by his wife's response. I thought they would try to plot some other way to get rid of Mordecai, but God made her say the right thing. It reminds me that if we are not humble, God will humiliate us until we learn from it. Also, he will protect us from our enemies and promote us so that they can see, and there is nothing they can do but watch. Lastly, no matter who hurt us, God says that vengeance is mine. We need to trust God and know that He will fight for us.

God has put you in the right place at the right time and will use the foolish things to confound the wise. The people that are there to block you, he will use those very people for his glory in your life. Your job is to trust him and understand that he cares for you. I'm building a business and yesterday I did my budget and I was just thinking hmmm how? But I trust God. All of a sudden I remember that I got a DM that morning from someone in my industry who wants to potentially collaborate. Funny enough 3 years ago I wanted to collaborate with them with so badly and tried to set up meetings but they ignored or didn't pay attention. The same person that ignored me (unintentionally I want to think) , is now asking to meet with me. He will literally turn things around.

I am trying to change jobs right now and not sure what to do. I’ve been enrolled in Texas Teachers for a while but stopped for 2 years. I decided to pick it back up on Wednesday and that same day I also got an interview for a job I was interested in working with kids. I still don’t know what I’m gonna do since this job doesn’t pay as well as my current job but trying to pray to God instead of worry. Prayers would be appreciated! 😊

There is song called Intentional by Travis Greene, and after the bible study I started singing it and then put the song on! Remember that God can be so intentional and he always puts songs on my mind that sticks to remind me that he see's me! Have a listen to the song it is beautiful and captures this capture segment so well.

Stop worrying (rest in His presence and timing not our understanding and timeframe) AND He can and will make our enemies our footstool’s. It will change the posture in how I wait on the Lord and it will change me wanting to fight my own battles. I have to remember God has me at all times. That’s my take away, amen.

No matter how we treat God, because it is likely in those days that they were jew by name but really practising and also the fact that GOD was not mentioned ONCE in the whole book, but He was still loving and merciful to His people. No coincidences

The part of the scriptures which got my attention is when Haman's wife, zeresh points out to him that his complete fall is inevitable.
Though Mordecai had been honored, the gallows for his execution was not destroyed, the decree to wipe out the Jews had not been revoked.
God used this honor Mordecai had, to communicate to him and the Jews in 3 ways.
    1. Hope strategy..... God used this act to elevate the hope of Mordecai and the Jews. God will always give us a reason to keep hoping and trusting in His process
    2. Assurance mark... Also God assured Mordecai and the Jews that He is for them and not against them.
    3. Victory sign. God equally made it clear to them that their victory is a sure deal as they keep seeking Him
God communicates to us in time of our needs or adversaries in so many ways... We have to keep reading His words for ourselves, listen to His words from preachers and teachers, like Mel... And also watch out for what He does for us daily....
Exodus 14:13 says do not be afraid, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord..
God bless you Melody and the entire family
