YESSSSSS, speakers are like some sort of eq. 32 years ago I had 2 18 inches cabinet, loads of lows, some mids, muddy high end. Forgot too mention, I play BASS and i miss those 1972 paper woofers......
Great video, thank you! I'd like to add that even though Two Notes is the first brand that comes to mind when you think of IR studio and live devices, I'd recommend to take a look at AMT Pangaea product line. There is a simple version that is just an IR player like Torpedo CAB (around 220$, two times cheaper than CAB) and the "almost guitar processor" version with Twin-like clean preamp, power Amp and tons of great effects that costs around 480$. The second one is basically your stripped down AX8 that is meant to be used with external preamps or dirt pedals if you want gainy sounds or as it is if all you need is clean or slight crunch.
hey man, been looking for ages explaination for this topic and today, BINGo, I'm super impressed, count me in, you've got a new loyal subscriber ! good job :D ( oh ya, I'm from Borneo Island *sarawak'*, Malaysia, South East Asia )
This was pretty interesting. Do you have a good source for the more technical stuff? I study computer science and could use some more specific information.
+Glasus Wasserus I can link you some more scholarly material later, but the Fractal Audio and Line 6 forums are pretty good places to start. Some of their user base are ridiculously knowledgable on this stuff.
Hey mate, nice nd very informative videos over there! Ive also checked out you Meshuggah tone video before and your stuffs really helpful so thanks bro, keep the shit up
+TachankaMyLove Haha, appreciate the kind words! It's a combination of just starting out and Google's horrific algorithms. As long as some people are getting value from the content I don't care about view counts.
Awesome. Not only does he explain what a impulse response is but he explains why it is called a impulse response. Good job dude.
After countless videos, I finally understand how the hell Impulse Response does what it does. Awesome!
Just would like to mention, that if the autofocus becomes an issue again, set the camera to Manual and it'll remain fixed
+Sergio Garcia Filmed this on a phone camera, no longer an issue!
Cant wait till you channel takes off dude. Your stuff is so good
Thank you for this video! It helped clear up some of the basics of IRs, and it's starting to make a lot more sense to me now.

its better to use the SR (sampling response) or apply a pink/white noise and analyse the FFT of noise produced of speaker.
