- Hey everyone! We are back with a long awaited rap battle that I've been hinting at for ages. Today we have space smuggler and pilot of the Millennium Falcon, Han Solo, against the first man to set foot on another celestial body, Neil Armstrong. Enjoy!

This rap battle was totally out of this world, shout-out to Neil Armstrong he totally won this battle hands down.

Twin missions were a bust like the cloud city raid. +4 (Alright this is a good line, diss + flex, and it works well.)
I won't take it from a guy who wears a tampon to space. +3
You're a bigger hunk of junk than my transport for fleeing. -1 (Bruh he just dissed himself.)
Hell, even Jabba's a more decent human being. +2 (Ngl, not a big fan of this verse.)
While the glorified photographer's here to do his worst. +1
But the fans deserve to know that Han shot first! +2
Neil Armstrong:
Houston we have a problem, and it sucks quite violently. +2
Flash Gordon got ripped-off and took up vacuum piracy. +5 (Ok it was going to be a 4 at first, but than I realised it was probably also referencing Armstrong Vacuum Breaker and decided it deserved another point.)

Gals complain of sub-parsecs with your rocky relations. +4
Cause you're looking for love in Alderaan places. +6 (Geez, the wordplay of these last two lines is great!)

You stuck up, half-witted, bad-at-rapping Nerf-herder! +4 (Armstrong's lines have definitely been better for the most part.)
Han Solo:
You should be more concerned about landing that Stormtrooper credo. +3
Don't Leia a hand on me, or you'll end up like Greedo! +2 (Eh, that was kinda lame.)
You're on my stomping ground, so your plan is getting soiled. +2
You'll need another round of quarantine after we've been embroiled. +4
Hop back to the door, so you can let the other boys out! +4 (It is a little weird that Armstrong was the most remembered even though they all had to do lots of work.)
Slap that patch on your sash, like an old, faded Boy Scout! +4 (Love the reference to that Armstrong was actually a Boy Scout.)
You're the First Man to make a space flick without life. +5 (This line is Han's best in terms of wordplay and has a diss. His second verse is much better than his first.)
Go climb your launch tower and take a giant leap for mankind! +2
Neil Armstrong:
Ladies and gentleman, the rapper has landed! +2
And like a game of sabacc, man your ass is getting handed. +4 (4 points just for the wordplay here. Neil definitely had better wordplay throughout.)
Cause your style like the atmosphere around me, is quite thin. +2
Just calm down Han, take it on the chin. +3
Your rhymes can't be more wooden if you were still a carpenter. +3
You'll be flagged as a doormat by this driven orbiter. +3 (Wordplay, wordplay.)

Always gotta love the moment when it shows a character from the next battle during the outro; especially when it's immediately before the last cut to black.

I really liked this battle, however there are things that could be better. Here’s my thoughts on each elements of the battle
MATCHUP: It unique!! I really like it, I’ve never heard of it before but the matchup makes sense and the connection is cool. 9/10
VISIUAlS: The backgrounds are nice and simple, which means it’s easier to focus on the characters and editing. Like for instance ERB’s Burger King vs Ronald McDonald. Sometimes with complicated backgrounds it’s harder to follow the characters. The editing is great and makes for some cool visuals! Like the whole sequence from 1:07-1:18 is just really feet to watch! I love how Neil’s second verse, you are able to pull off the space feel, you’ve done an awesome job pulling off these different eras, it was great in Godzilla vs Harry Truman, and it’s great here. 9/10
CHARACTER PORTRAYALS: So for Han, I think it’s done really well, Zawesome nails down the sarcasm, movements and facial Expressions of Solo perfectly. For Armstrong, the costume is good, but at times I feel like the voice acting was a bit to quiet. Like for instance, at the end of his first verse he doesn’t sound that aggressive or annoyed, at times for Armstrong I didn’t get the feel that this was a rap battle, if that makes sense. However the body acting was good. 8/10
LYRICS: I think it’s good overall, I like how the Star Wars References are there, but not to much. It’s also creative, Armstrong could have easily said “I’ll kill you like your son”, however that idea is done creatively and makes for a great finisher. There’s a lot of clever lines, however I feel like Armstrong never had lrycis where he talked his accomplishments, or not that many. I think that the lyrics are pretty good and clever. 9/10
BEAT: The Beat is simple and enjoyable at times. 9/ 10
OVERALL: This is a very great battle, with a cool matchup, great lyrics and some excellent visuals! I’ve watched this many times, because it’s enjoyable and the right length! There are some things to work on, but overall great job!!! 9/10

Just out of curiosity, could you tell me an example of a rap battle where you felt the backgrounds made the characters hard to follow? Because I legit can’t think of a battle, fan made or official, where I felt the backgrounds made the characters hard to follow.
