I fitted my solid solar panel to the roof bars on my Vivaro High top LWB and put the cable down the rear light clusters then through the van wiring loom, no drilling needed. It will be interesting what happens to yours after a couple of autumns and winters In the UK.

I'm interested to find out if this worked over a substantial portion of time. Please could you update us ?

Hello! How you put the cable at the inside of the car? I have'nt any ideas, to use the rubber seal in the left side without flooding. Thanks so much!!!

nice but each strip costs £8 in Srewfix so you need like 30 strips if 3m for each panel=£240 !!!?

Thx MC. You're awesome idea saves me money which means more seafood. Thx bro. What are the end pieces you attach to the end of the Solar panels??

Thanks! I've just added a 2x130W solar to my Vivaro using the P-strip and Velco. I was using magnets, rather like the one you were using to save the camera flying away, but they scratch the roof!!

Nice to see somebody doing a tidy job rather than using sticky flex like it’s going out of fashion 👍

Looks good. I am also looking to attach at least 1 flexi panel to my trafic. Well done. Subbed.

How are they doing? I've heard bad things about these flexi panels

@@chriswright7083 They don’t seem to last very long at all. Afew friends have had to replace after 6 months etc. fingers crossed yours are fine 👍🏻

@@timmy5521 Most likely user/installer error, panels can overheat so need airflow underneath them, I have seen many glued flat to boats/vehicles, so it is inevitable they will break.
