    Congrats on a successful craft fair, even though the storm inhibited traffic and sales.

    Congrats on a good craft fair! Thank you so much for making this video and letting us know how it went. I 100% would have bought the big jumbo dino, I've been eying them in your store ever since I found out you existed and I've just been waiting on a month when I don't have as many bills so I can buy one. (I could make one, too, but I'd like one from you. ❤)

      AWW!! @ZeshaTheCat thank you so much! ❤️❤️❤️I'm glad you enjoyed this video!! And you have no idea how much I appreciate you valuing my dinosaurs at what I value them at! It can be hard to compete with equivalent-sized squshmallows that sell for a fraction of the price. 😅

      @@merrymakes Yeah, but the dinos are made with love instead of being mass-produced! That gives them more value in my opinion. As much as I love squishmallows, I'd rather buy a giant plush dino.

    Congratulations well done. I'm always surprised how much people are will on to pay. I had my fist market outside on Dec 2/23 4 to 8 pm. I live in Ontario , Canada & it was cold especially towards the end. I love your work, I did make one big penguin priced @ $20. I sold it to a student volunteer for $15. The Alien child make in thicker yarn sold for $15. The man actually gave me $20 & said pass it forward. My best sellers were turtles @$15 & lots of octos @ $5. Happy holidays & thanks for sharing.

      That's awesome!!! I hope you had fun at your first market and that everyone loved your pieces!! ❤️I think pricing is always because crafters don't always value their skill or time nearly enough, but at the end of the day, price is just how much we value our items 😊 Happy Holidays to you and your loved ones!! ❤️

    So happy your craft fair did really well. Thank you for sharing your results and the other videos before this one. I was kind of nervous when I had Paypal as one of my ways of payment, it was the first time I ever did that so I wasn't sure what to expect. But the lady scanned my QR code showed me on her phone and my name popped up and it said that she made a payment to me so I was hoping that was good and then I checked on my phone and it said that I did get the payment. Sorry that things got messed up on one of your payments, this person should have come back to make the payment, it would have been the right thing to do. Thank you for the links to your patterns. I already made one of your pudgy penguins.

      I’m so glad you enjoyed this vid!!! And yes haha taking PayPal/venmo definitely comes with its risks, but it’s a good lesson learned for me! 😂I hope you enjoyed the penguin pattern and the other patterns I linked-they’re definitely favorites of mine!!!

    How much time you spent making all of them in total?. I often think of it in terms of minimum wage, otherwise it isn't worthy.

      I agree with this completely until the amount of inventory you have is excessive haha! My prices online are higher than my prices for this craft fair, and I felt that it was fine for me to mark it down because I just had too much stored and I needed to make more room for all the stuff I will make in the future! ❤️

    Was it difficult to assign prices to your items?

    • @merrymakes
      @merrymakes  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Haha yes! It always is! 🤣 this year, a little less so though since I have more experience and price history from last year. Knowing what folks have previously been willing to pay definitely builds my confidence in my pricing!
