Honestly am surprised that it took this long to have a Tanuki character in this series, considering how well known they are. (OK fine one showed up in a chapter of one of the books, but still) ...Oh yeah, this piano mix is FANTASTIC by the way. Good job DO! And good find Kkcwkoh!
I can't get over when, in Hopeless Masquerade, if you do a certain combination playing as Mamizou (down arrow + d?) you fly into your opponent riding on a demon, and then the demon turns into a tanuki and falls. XD I love Mamizou and I love her theme!
@ArmezhiaTakashi Hm... Comiket is the world's largest self-published comic book fair, held twice a year in Tokyo, Japan.(Citation from Wikipedia) They sell audio CD from fan-circles here too. Reitaisai - it's pretty same, but only Touhou-related. You should Google it, it's kinda well-known things.
@SurgicalZeal actually as far as i remember female tanuki is supposed to be the opposite of males... so she should be a total washboard... well might be wrong
@thegreatMSG good I havent defeat mamizou yet but I reach her last spell card also I havent fight with her in a long time, im trying to beat first koishi I reach her final card too when I defeat koishi mamizou will be the next one the ex bosses i have deafeated in order of deafeat are flan, suwako, ran, mokou and yukari only left rika, mugetsu-gengetsu, alice, koishi, shikieki extra, marisa, mamizou and nue
@AntarieI On the first version of the full game, if you didn't bomb during the 4 or 5 seconds after it finished, it would crash. I was going to catch it, too. orz
@ElZenom It's not his first self-insert in Touhou. Rinnouske looks ZUNish too. Suika and Yugi, but less... And green leaf - more like joke about his most known photo and favourite hat.
@timbo20x Just a small thing about her spellcards.. o_o I think she's the 3rd easiest ex-boss after Mokou and Suwako o_o'' i beat her the 7th time i encountered the extra stage and got to this card with the rows of little guys at the first try xD I really think she is one of the easiest extrabosses, though her survival is quite challenging, indeed, and her last spellcard is just that demarcation-like thing I just hate because im too dumb for it.. was bad enough suwako had the pattern in hers xD

@timbo20x ten desires is the easiest game of touhou i was able to reach extra mode and hurt her to her survival card in only 2 tries with suwako it tooks me 1 month that progress
@kkcwkoh do you two already know when you bomb at 3 - 4 seconds before the timer runs out, the bug doesnt happen? o.o.. just wanted to say in case you dont~

@thegreatMSG she is not very dificult just like nue but her stage have some dificult part (like nue but less hard) keep practicing I bet the firts Ex bosses you will defeat should be Ran, Mamizou, Suwako (she is hard but she have the easiest stage), or maybe flandre (is quite hard but not so hard as marisa, koishi, nue or mokou

At first I thought she's spray us with all the Final Spell Cards from all the Extra bosses then lastly use her own. Being a Copy Youkai that's what I always think.
@Ray5472 It kinda is, really. The songs are nice, but they don't feel up to par with most of ZUN's previous work. I mean, you take this game and match it up against, say, MoF or IN, the music doesn't even compare...
@7arani If that's true then that does kinda explain away her overall geek'ish, book-worm-like appearance... After all the chess wouldn't be the ONLY thing that is small now is it... She's probably spent 1000's of years hiding away from male Tannki's, cradling herself in fear...

Actually, the hat, sake bottle and promissory note are all traits of the canonic tanuki image.

I hate how I keep hearing Ten Desires music doesn't compare to the others. Personally, I find Ten Desires OST MUCH better than most.
