My sons an incoming freshman and I’m wondering if you know how big the triples are in Dickinson Rafuse. We are trying to purchase some stuff and dimensions would be great and maybe even a video!!! Then you will be a superstar!!
hey! so I actually had the same issue this year because as a TH-camr I use my macbook to edit, so I had to use VMware and connect to Binghamton's systems on my mac and run solidworks for CAD through that. It's definitely not ideal, but you can always go work in the lab on Bing's computers too if you have a mac already
@@LightsOnLeah thanks for the feedback! But like how often did u actually need to use CAD in class, like physically in class? And is using the VMware like super annoying?also goin the bing this coming year
of course! and first semester, we had assignments on solidworks every single week, and some took a pretty long time so you use it quite frequently. VMware was pretty annoying but I made it work when I had to, although all the engineers would make jokes about how much we hate it haha. also maybe I'll see you this year!!

Hey, im a upcoming freshmen going into mechanical engineer. I needed a help of rec on a laptop bc ik macs cant run CAD. Any suggestions?
