I believe you're watching opinions and theories with some facts mixed in
Otherwise known as every Infographics video 😅
came down to comment the same thing, strongly disagree with most of this
The basis of the video is an opinion, anyone that takes these things as fact isn't thinking critically enough.
It’s beyond fascinating to wonder how history could have been different
There are a lot of these types of scenarios/videos that could be made about these types of things and how the world would be different had this or that person hadn't existed or I'd this or that event would've went totally different.
I don't agree with all the video's assumptions, but speculation allows for an unlimited number of possible scenarios.
"It was Hitler and his rise to power and the atrocities that he committed that gave pause to the American Presidents being compelled to strike out at the Soviet Union." - In a video full of idle speculation and loose associations, this one really took the cake.
My great grandpa was in the same platoon as hitler in ww1. His journal about hitler is insane. Seeing him mentally unstable in the trenches, and the journal talks about hitler starting mein kamph in the trenches instead of jail
Interesting that you're watching this video today when yesterday (May 24th) marked the 80th year anniversary of the sinking of the pride of the Royal Navy the battle cruiser HMS Hood when she and the battleship HMS Prince of Wales engaged the German ships the heavy cruiser Prinz Eugen and the battleship Bismarck at the Battle of the Denmark Strait.
You don't even need to kill a baby Hitler, just kill him when he was in WW1.
Or not start ww1 at all UK and France should have let Russia, Serbia and Germany, Austria fight it out, Serbia was in the wrong anyway.
JN I guess you still asleep
The thing is the development of the atomic bomb, as the video stated that Germany was in the process of developing one. So if someone better than Hilter came into power, he would likely focus on a single wonder weapon, and to crush the UK would have likely used it on the UK similar to how the USA used to stop Japan. Hell during the end of WW2, if Japan refused to surrender, the USA was making plans for the landing of the main Japanese islands, which required the dropping of several atomic bombs on the costal landing areas to remove any resistance. Meaning if the UK refused to surrender and proved to much to push through by normal means of defeat, the improve Germany would continue to target airfields instead of cities and towns, could not stop the eventual dropping of several nukes on the costal landing area. Remember this what-if is based on a better version of Hilter taking charge instead, making no mistakes choice to take out France and the UK first, instead of causing a two front war.
Great Britain and USA is like the Fox and the Tiger story. They just look tough walking beside us 😂👍🏽
The US entered the war because of Japan. The leaders wanted to join the UK earlier (lend-lease), but the populace opposed it. Japan changed everything. The better video would have been what if Japan didn't attack Pearl Harbor.
There was a report of this old woman in Austria and she said to the allies "I was the Midwife at Hitler's birth, and If I knew and could turn the clock back, I would have drowned him."
In a world without Hitler history still would've had Mao and Stalin, and the estimated millions of people who died in the Russian holocaust...and the Armenian genocide... the Nazi occupation was only one of the worst atrocities of the last century.
There was also a moment where a British soldier had Hitler dead to rights but spared him.
That's why we're at a stalemate like a Mexican standoff who sweat blinker says something first it's on
Thing is, the Wehrmacht was never actually that powerful. They stomped Poland and France only because of the Blitzkrieg strategy but were otherwise pretty unprepared for such a large scale war. Hitler also, against the better judgement of his generals, started the invasion of Poland too early. I'd say that WWII itself was inevitable but there were different players who all could've started it aside from Germany.
If Hitler never would have existed we would have never seen the movie "The Boys From Brazil".
only reason I thought Trump was doing something right, keeping North Korea under control in a small way..
That and our economy was the best it's ever been in history....it's not his fault corona virus hit either...he fast tracked the vaccines also
Blokes gbb 2021 wildcards are out waiting for the reaction also don't forget check out the runner-up list for the wildcards the level is too high this year
The USSSR didn't get the bomb until after Hitler was dead. There has not been true war between Russia and the US since and there would have never been nuclear war. Hitler's advance through eastern Europe and his attack on the USSR was what created the USSR's size and power, on the way east defeating the Germans they took Bulgaria, Romania, Hungary, Poland and eastern Germany.
Fun fact: A Jewish priest in 1918 saved a boy from drowning. That boy turned out to be Adolf Hitler. People consider what would have happened if he didn't save him.
no star wars, no man on moon
I wish they'd do a video about Mao and Stalin. I understand Hitler was pure evil but it seems like people pay all the attention to him when he couldn't touch Mao and Stalin on their evilness.
That would be interesting.
Who to say countys like Ireland Poland Norway Russia etc wouldn't join the fight If Germany still tried to take France and England without Hitler.
Maybe the Nazis just needed a hug? Anyone ever consider that?
dave you gotta stop being offended every time the UK isn't #1 or doesn't come out on top of things. Germany was ridiculously strong during WW2 and the only reasons they lost were because of horrible decision-making and US intervention. Europe was theirs for the taking if they were smart about it. That's just the truth.
Russia ended the war but ok
@@drkelmentz no they didn't. It was strictly because of the US and the tons of supplies the US provided to all its allies - including Russia. Go look it up.
@@Vendrix86 brainwashed yanks believing they're own hype
@@drkelmentz History isn't up for debate ya doofus. Read a book. Or, look it up online. It's not hard to find the facts. Also, it's *their*.
@@Vendrix86 I wouldn't say that the US strictly won the war. It was a combined effort that did it. If America hadn't taken part it is probable that the axis would have won, if the Soviet Union didn't take part the it is probable the axis would have won. This was not a single country's victory.
maybe those where all failed assassination attempts by time travelers from the future.
The US entered WW2 after Japan attack so how would they not be involved? And most certainly WW2 would not have happened without Nazi Germany. Italy and Spain were not going to do any major damage.
React to TIONEB VS SARO LOOPSTATION you won't regret.
@16:00 I hope Dave is joking and not being serious there. Let's be fr for a few, as long as he would've had enough man power, seeing he lost a shitton of men in Russia, though the Russians lost a depressing amount as well a lot being civilians too, Hitler deff would have went and taken over the rest of Europe and Britain. I understand that GB has a ton of pride and would've never given up until the last man was gone, but let's not sit here and act like he wouldn't have gone there and done that until they were all gone and would've definitely taken immense pride in ot as well!
If Britain attacked Russia, Nato and the U.S. would have definitely been there to help I'm almost certain....
This theory is absurd
Eh, this alternative history feels a bit like nonsense to me.
The most powerful far-right party in Germany prior to the Nazis was the DNVP led by the most powerful media owner in 1920s Germany... one Alfred Hugenberg. In the real world Hugenberg essentially used his media arm and influence to force Hitler into the chancellorship. He was also virulently anti-Semitic. You would have still had the issue of the far-right being the most powerful force in German politics and they would still have had the most powerful militant wings. Given Hindenburg's own militant right-wing tendencies, albeit more monarchist in nature, you'd still have ended up with a far-right dominated government by 1934 at the latest.
The only question would be who would replace Hindenburg as the leader of Germany's right-wing, and eventually the government itself. Would it have been a monarchist or simply a different admirer of Mussolini and fascism? A less-decisive leader who was unwilling or unable to completely seize control of the government and did not have the cultural clout of Hindenburg would have struggled to maintain control and would perhaps have pushed the balance of power back towards the left during a time where compromise was already considered treason by extremists on both sides. There is a reasonable chance that if a weaker, more moderate, right wing had come to power you would have seen an outright German civil war during the 1930s.
However, if power had fallen to someone on the extreme-right the individual leading it could have been more or less competent than Hitler... but it is unlikely they would have been the same sort of pseudo-messianic figure Hitler was. It could have been someone like Franze Seldte or Theodor Duesterberg, both of which were radical and very prominent politicians... even by the standards of the day... but also in their 60s and far less charismatic. In that event they may have had a much more difficult time controlling the German population including their own ostensible allies on the far-right. My best guess is that you'd have ended up with a weaker Germany that was less focused on territorial expansion than with reinforcing their own internal control. Beyond that the future becomes very unpredictable.
RIP KING

This is so simplistic and idiotic I am ashamed my favorite u tube channel would entertain any Ideas of believing this tripe. Please guys; history is much richer than this.

that infographics video was hard to sit through. that script is a rambling mess
i like that they got offended when the vid stated britain would have lost. if you know history you know hitler made a ton of mistakes the cost the war. the air war over britain was all most won when hitler ordered a change in targets from the airfields to attacking cities if they continued to attack airfields britain would have lost it was to attacks on the cities that gave them the breathing room to come back swinging.
Well I wouldn't be able to watch history shows. But you know how life goes we humans are terrible species.
I might be in the minority here, but I don’t like this hitler guy
