It would be an Interesting twist if the demons, angels and monsters were all different human factions, because these are all things humans would do in the right circumstances. Abusing and exploiting people whilst playing at divinity, is a very human thing, I could certainly imagine a trans humanist factions of humans forming in the right circumstances, and however far in the future there may always be those who follow a compassionate way.
It was a great story but you missed some details like how the demons are described as ungodly standing and walking on two legs, perceived by the mc as opposed mannerisms compared to himself and the angels. I'm sure the angels are other xenos who expand their dominion by "peacefully" enslaving underdeveloped species "for the greater good ".
People need stories with meaning now more than ever. We threw away a book full of them and called them chilìsh lies that depict a bearded old man in the sky, not realising that man was ment to represent us, or the ideals and extreems of us. Now we reap the fruits of actions that could of been avoided if only we had listened to those stories and tried to gleam some wisdome from them. 😔
