- Hi everyone and welcome back to my channel! Today I’m teaching you how to paint this Guardian Angel in acrylic. Please subscribe to my channel and enjoy this video 😊
You will need the following colours and brushes for this painting tutorial today:
COLOURS:
Titanium white
Black
Phthalo blue
Cadmium yellow light hue
Neon red
BRUSHES:
Filberts- #50, #30 and #12
CANVAS: 16x20” (I painted mine grey first)
You can use a white canvas as well though 😘

I love this angel painting. I just like angels in general. Back when I used to do counted cross-stitch, I stitched several pictures of angels. Have them hanging in a bedroom. Think I will be painting this one to hang in there with the others. Thanks Joni

When you clean up a line are you using a clean wet brush? Thank you for teaching I’m retire and you have saved me from boredom or crazy whichever would have happened first!

I love this but what if I’d like to make angel a little lighter? Can I just add white to make it a lighter grey?

I painted this after my mom passed away. I love it and my aunts love it. Her sister has since passed and I want to do 2 angels but kinda unsure how to do it. Since 3 sisters became 1 in less than 2 years I want to do something special for my remaining aunt. Any advice or maybe a tutorial would be amazing !
Hey Joni! I love watching your tutorials and I’m going to attempt this today... hopefully. The largest filbert I have is 18” is that okay or should I use my 2” flat?
I would try both and get a feel for which one you prefer, it’s different for everyone with what they like to use 😊

Love the picture but angels don't have bird wings but butterfly wings. Sorry
But its not realistic painting its art.
So you probably don't like the "angel wings" from REM's "Losing My Religion?"
Angels don't have bird wings..... trust me
