Watching a game like this makes me realize that many of my moves are done without any thought at all. I would have moved the bishop to E3 automatically and never thought twice about it.
When you did Keres sir i though i will never see such a interesting chess moves. Then i discovered Alekhine :D Mato thank you for every video you make!
meshari musaad why not? Can't we appreciate a player if we like him? I like Nezhmetdinov, Alekhine and Keres most. In my opinion these guys are the greatest ever, not Kasparov nor Fishcher nor Carlsen. But this is just my opinion. They are my favourites. Is it wrong to have opinions nowadays?
Can anyone please guide me to the continuation after @4:22 Queen to D8. It looks that black is suffering from lack of space but I am not able to see continuation after that. please..
After Qd8 you can just play Rfe1 and now the threat is d7. Depending on where the bishop moves, there are several ideas, you can invade either with your queen (Qd5+ or Qg4) or you with your knight (Nb5 or Nd5-c7-e6). In any case black is in very bad position, probably lost.
Thanks Mato pozz from Slovenia.
Alekhine is gradually becoming my favorite chess player to watch. He plays non sense chess and twist my mind with his reasonings. Impressive!
Great game! Always fun to watch an Alexander Alekhine game. I would like to see some games from the great Mato Jelic! ☺

+IsItHardToBeVegan? Alekhine is the best
Alekhine does make it look so easy: that's the hallmark of a great player.
This time the Video is quite short, but Mato can always provide such a good gameplay everyday

Mato, I am new to your channel so this may sound really dumb, but are you doing a series on the same player? Great video and game btw
yes
My hometown
I didn't know Oprah played chess.
Alekhine was the greatest blindfold player I ever saw. I am not as accurate with full sight of the board and all the time I want.
According to Edaward Lasker, Pillsubury was better because he was more precise in his play. Whereas Alekhine lost and draw some of them.
👍👍
Wow
Mato, is Alekhine your favorite chess player?
Tal is
alekhine was pretty good.
I didn't know Oprah played chess, never would a guessed.
2 knights vs 2 bishops?: "Please Brer Fox, don't throw me in that there briar patch." AA is the all time king of the knight, IMO.
black Queen is trapped!
not bad at all......
dont want to take anything from the great alekhine but c5 was a big inaccuracy
