- Session has a new STORY MODE! As you can probably tell, I've been playing a LOT of Session lately, but the one thing I haven't messed with yet is the new story mode. In this video, I just wanted to go around actually playing the new Session story mode that was added in the new update! It's really cool to see the challenges from each of the new pros and how they relate to their skating styles in real life. The future of Session is looking really promising and I hope you've been enjoying the Session content!

Oh, you're still reading the description? That's kinda weird. I guess I'll tell you a bit about myself. My name is Garrett Ginner, I like skateboarding, playing video games, and having fun. I have my main channel where I post vlogs and that kinda stuff, and I decided to start this channel because I've always had a love for playing video games. Hey Garrett the reason the last challenge was difficult was because it was a no push challenge read the name of the challenge

I used to not have any fun on session, but ever since the update whatever they did to fix the fluidity of the skating worked wonders. It's amazing what something as little as the way the skaters body moves when cruising and turning and the shirt flapping in the wind does for the immersion
I actually think the glitch at 5:12 made the clip look better it looked like he rode off the curb steezy af
Many missions are broken in goofy stance. There's one where you have to do a fakie backside fullcab flip, but it only works if you have your skater's stats officially set to regular stance, so you have to go into the apartment and edit your skater and retry the mission.
Actually mine worked while I was goofy...
The mission where you have to do a BS big spin to grind didn't work for me. I ended up doing a BS flip to grind to make it work I think.
it would register for me by doing a fs halfcab flip...lol...or sometimes a mere fs 180 also did the trick...
the voice-over with the voice changer is golden content, MORE PLS
I don’t know if you know this but when you wanna go into your stats menu you can just hold the pause button and it will take you straight there.

Yep, I'm enjoying this update more than older versions as well! And I always said that when they fix controls, this is gonna slay SXL. They're not quite there yet but at least it's not as frustrating to play anymore as it was.
Seeing that there is 1000$ rewards I imagine as they add new cities you probably gotta buy a plane ticket to get to and from far places. Random thought but it would be legit. Save that loot! Lol
I honestly used to hate session content a lot, and I’ll found myself watching hours of skater xl, but now, I don’t really know what’s changed, I just rather session than skater XL, graphics are better, the gameplay looks realistic, and fluid, and it's really fun to watch the challenges of the story mode.

Yeah, they should add that to the todo list thst pops up. It wasn't clear. But it stated in the mission itself I guess. Us ADHD people don't have time for that haha.

That trick at the end didn’t count because you pushed it was a “no push line” as the mission name

Never watched gameplay of this game but after the first couple flatground tricks you did I got pretty excited.
you can slow down your rotations and double tap the trigger that you are rotating with to make a slow 180/360 with a little seamless ground slide
The last anti ferg was no push line that's why it wouldn't work
I think I figured out that directional pop out if you haven’t got that yet.. use the front foot stick and you gotta ever so slightly angle it the direction you wanna pop out not enough to flip the board but just enough to pop you to the side ya want. It’s hard lol

I've had the same issue with challenges not registering me doing what it says, figured out it's to do with speed and landing in a specific area on the other side of the obstacle like on that last bench for Antiferg. Go a bit slower than you think you need to be and it might help, seems to work for me
He didn’t push because the challenge name is a no push line. He didn’t push between the first and second bench and he finally got it at the end because it didn’t push from the second to the third bench

With how much you are enjoying this, somone needs to get you a modded hairpiece so the character looks like you. You should also look into the INTRACT app for a face scan. You can be in the game, you are PC🙃
I hope they do the thps thing and make you earn higher pop etc then add notoriety as you become more known.. And add competitions too. And skate demo events too plus cops

Idk why but the story missions haven’t been working for me. Every time I change locations, it completely resets all my progress and makes me go back to the first mission

That last challenge was a no push challenge which is why you kept failing. But in fairness, they really need to make it more clear when the challenge is no push.

I slightly lowered the flip/scoop speed, but besides that I’ll just adjust everything depending on what I’m skating

Honestly I’m not sure!! I only play with Skater XL controls but I can test it out and let you know!
Maybe but legacy is just to help ea skate players get accustomed to the feel of session. Your aren't able to do any challenges or quests with legacy since the game is meant to be played with sessions controls.

You really need to learn how to side pop, not only out of grinds but into grinds. Push the stick to the side instead of down

the intent of that story mode is good, but...the execution, bruh...I mean...it counts nonsense as actual tricks and ticks off the boxes, then tells you to go skate X while in fact you can skate anywhere except X in order to clear the goals given to you...it's still crap in that regard, frankly. And very confusing.
