Great progress Frank, I have collected Hot Wheels for over 40 yrs. The 67-72 Chevy trucks is my favorite over 100 in different scales. But only building for a couple years both great hobbies!!!
I'm 67 and retired, been collecting Hot Wheels/Greenlight/Johnny Lightning/Matchbox since I was young. I too just get what I like - classic hot rod, musclecars, sportscars, some trucks and lately trailers. I've been getting the 1/25 car/truck kits including trailers too. I go through phases. 😊
The maroon with black & white interior isn't a combination that would've come quickly to my mind, but I'm really liking it. Hot Wheels (or Matchbox) wasn't something I ever collected, I only built model kits in those younger days. For awhile about 20-25 years ago, I collected finished diecast 1:24 models, but they've stopped producing most of that and I'm back to plastic models.
I was also very uncertain about my interior color choice but it seems to have worked out.I also collect the bigger die cast but they are very rare to find lately
always a joy! When i was young in the late 60's I had a ton of hot weels, tracks. the lil orginal carrying cases. When my nephew was a kid I gave them all to him. I wished I had all of those still!
