When you look back on these games now - you can't help but wonder if Brucie was accepting bribes to let soft goals in. Some of his positioning at times was highly questionable.
Im not sure about that but he would make some of the most spectacular diving saves but miss some of the easier ones. I think he was over confident and that led to him making mistakes. I met him at Anfield around the same year as this game. I was only about 12 and idolised him but he was really arrogant and quite aggressive towards me for taking his photo.
Possibly a bit late for that. I don't mind, along as everyone is respectful. The idea of this channel is to document the 85/86 - 90/91 period as fully as possible, which means including bad games like this.
I think it's best to keep your great uploads to LFC fans I don't think real Liverpool fans who lived through the years United were our bogey team would enjoy reminding how they thrashed us in this one it opens old wounds we would rather forget this one
Hopefully people can tell from the title what each game is, and then make a decision over whether to watch it or not. I thought there was enough of interest to Liverpool fans in this video to make it worth uploading.
I can't speak for every Liverpool fan, but as someone who watched the full 90 of your 4-0 demolition of us in 1990 a few years back, I think there's enough interest. Supporting a team isn't just about winning.
