I’m so excited for this as my daughter is 7 and she absolutely loves music and singing and she HOH. She was born deaf but she has implants.

My daughter is deaf. She recieved her cochlear implant at 3 and now, at 18, is in college. She double-lettered in HS in orchestra playing the viola and was a state-level dancer until she was 15. It's nice to see people realize the talent of the deaf community.
Plus, you can yell at them in a crowded space with your hands and noone else knows. HAHAHA!

So proud of Ali. It is so hard to sing when you are hearing impared. I was born with 75% hearing loss. I love musicand sound horrible. So proud of all the work she put in.
She is a beast! Her runs were so well done. She had the sauce and so much soul! I was with her parents, I was like CHANCE😂
Gifts come wrapped in different packages. Similar to Ali there are hearing impaired dancers who move through rhythmic vibration. Not clear if she hears words or lip reads she annunciates so clearly. Impressive makes ya count your blessings humbled by her ability to lean on one sense over another. Hey, music stems from the soul. It's magical. No matter, she's a winner!
She could be sensing the vibrations and just trusting her voice honestly there are quite a few deaf artist one of my faves plays uke and wheres no shoes while performing to feel the vibrations in the floor

I noticed heavy drumming in her blinds. Noticed her feeling it, in her movement. It will be interesting to see and to listen to her story about what she utilizes in her training that is specific to her situation! I really am excited about her talent! She's awesome!

Ali as a CODA, growing up with my deaf mom singing. She loved singing! You're talented! I know deaf would support you! Even as a hearing, I can't even sing and that says a lot of you! You go Girl! And picking Kelly was a good choice! Best of luck to you in music!

@@ShowtuneSampler Due respect, but while she was born fully deaf, as SHE said; she has hearing aids now. If she was profoundly (fully-permanently) deaf (as in there is NOTHING that could be done about it...) the hearing aids would serve no purpose. That means that NOW she can hear, and though we don't know what percentage of hearing has been restored, she is definitely NOT fully deaf now.
Ali picks a good song and brings her own spunk to it. Loved the melodic changes and her inflections plus those runs. She had a very few shaky moments but good audition. - So You Wanna Be A Singer

I’m deaf and my voice sounds tone deaf when I sing HAHAHA - but what she did was great! They both would be great coaches no matter who she picked. Kelly and Chance are awesome people. Thanks for being involved with DEAFintely dope Chance you are amazing!

Ali was one of my top 2 favorites! She’s an inspiration to anyone with any type of disability, such a gift she has! I was shocked she didn’t choose Chance 🤷🏻♀️

Wow, I cannot carry a tune in a bucket, and this contestant knocked it out of the park. I'm always amazed at the talented people that audition for the show. Well done Ali! Hearing impaired, I would have never guessed it if you had not told me when the performance was happening. Good luck on the show! Kelly and Chance are so kind and I love them both. Niall is adorable, and Blake is at least honest enough to know when to not press the button when it's not in his wheelhouse. Well done all.

Girl!!! I had the show on, but not really paying attention. I found myself enjoying and feeling good while you were singing. When it dawned on me what I was listening to I was blown away. What a voice, regardless of the challenges you have had, you are fabulous!!!! I want to hear more, now. I want to play your album while I am working, while I am tooling around my house singing with you at the top of my voice (which is bad, I can't carry a tune in a paper bag!). You have a fan. Keep it up!
