It's true that the audience doesn't understand the industry; they need to be educated, even through media platforms.

yeah but lets be honest guys, there are ways to approach matters and you don't get any response after you have respectfully laid your complaint then you are well within your rights to draw attention as you see fit. I will be honest and say I don't have all the details of this matter but the snippet of the letter I saw sounds like the anger is directed at the minister...why?

I think people take minister Gayton as their friend because he is too available and active online..other ministers will finish their 5 year turn without ever lifting a finger..i.e minister of Defence

the manner of approach is the problem they could have wrote a letter to his office instead of twiiter and make it seem as the minister doest wana help.here the women is talking about the president having to sign yet she still find a way to blame gayton.

@Melumzi4343 he's not entitled to helping every TV crew. They didn't put him in power.. He's doing his job well

Oh, how tediously actors must rehearse their plight, as if the rest of us owe them perpetual sympathy for their creative mismanagement! Pay them, indeed, but spare me the moral grandstanding. This culture of entitlement forgets that work-artistic or otherwise-requires discipline and fortitude, not public histrionics. One might think they aspire to star not in dramas, but melodramas of their own making!

The minister must grow up. He's there to serve, be servant, not act arrogant and look down on ordinary people. He's excited pleasing the elites.

No they don't. I mean even Nollywood actresses, Legends who I grew up on, spoke on these issues of payment and requirements to obtain an acting gig.
