I thought I knew a lot about the Marxists movement in America, but James has shown me I didn’t. Been listening to his stuff daily for weeks now. I listen at least twice to make sure I get everything. Thanks Dr Lindsay!
After all this information sits in your mind for like six months it’s going to get really really weird for you. It probably already is and you’ll get used to it but then it’s going to get really really weird in around six months.
@@OlympiaCHUD Yeah well, I have been watching these things happen to society since the late 1990s. I had no idea what it was, but I knew it was founded in Marxism. Now he has explained it so well, and I bet you are right. It’s going to get really really weird. In fact it already is!
@@sheogorath7915 I can't say I was in that deep, but the negative thinking to define things was something I recognized I do. Glad you're seeing how insidious this all is too.
@@gravytopic what does any of this have to do with young earth creationists? I would say that he’s pretty brave since he is exposing the power structure and is explaining its methods of operation to normies. I have been studying the gnostic principles of the Judeo-Masonic elite for many years and I assure you that what Mr. Lindsay is a brave soul for exposing the truth about how they highjack narratives to control outcomes in world events.
Fantastic James, thank you. You’re covering huge ground in great depth. You have a wonderful skill of injecting a light touch just where it’s needed, without skipping a beat on the analysis. A truly great speaker.
I really want you guys to make an Animated video under five minutes long than explains the mechanics of woke gnosticism. I need potent nuggets to drop.
And yet those generations did nothing to stem it. Did nothing except drink the milk shake with a straw reaching into our future. I'm glad most of them are getting cremated.
We live in a book like technocratic “A Brave New World” , right now, more or less, as well as a crony capitalistic story book “Animal Farm”, and marxist “1984”. These were extreme examples or warnings of where things could go back then when they were written. Communism was/is a legit fear. However the mystical gnostics have used cultic “secret knowledge societies”, sophistry, kaballah, rosicrucianism, illuminati, freemasonry, hermies, esoteric mystical/magical beliefs, new age occult, post modernism, wokism to usurp the Western’s true Conservatism & Liberalism, into their “higher knowledge” or responsibility towards woke progressive Gnosticism. This sick ideology converts the ignorant, the open minded bleeding heart needing a cause to believe in, the corruptible, the “educated” , and those born into this system with each new generation. Once enough people have been tricked into their word definition magic, these occultic gnostics have grown from 1% of the public voice , into a 51% + majority of the voice (or pretend to at least). They then have turned the Western culture away from individual freedoms towards the communist socialist cultural marxist collective and then can force the power of their beliefs on everyone, including the science/reason based believer, and the faith-religion/trust based believer. James Lindsay is right when he says the conservatives and liberals need to shake hands and join together to fight the toxic Gnostic Occultism, that is born out of Christian hate, hate of the Scientific method/Reason, a love of mystical kabbalah, sophistry, esoteric magick, cultural relativism, Feminism (chaotic sympathy for the collective), marxism etc. The future voting power of the West will heavily slant their voices towards the power & control over human freedoms, life, liberty, personal property, etc , if we don’t take action against this insidious marxist secret higher knowledge of occultic Gnosticism. Don’t be WOKE, You need to WAKE UP and SEE what is happening right under your nose, and infecting your childrens minds.
It's how he is able to bamboozle the lay and casual observer, most ppl won't check and will have studied the material fro which he has cherry picked. And he does also seem obsessed with discrediting the left like it's his one true passion, which means he has gathered much data in order to do as such.
God wants you to behave like a Muslim fundamentalist, even associating exclusively with other christians. No christian is a true christian. It's all ancient bullshit.
James Lindsay makes great points. However, the ultimate gnostic double speak would be an atheist telling you what James Lindsay just told you. James Lindsay, Atheist. Trojan Horse.
This is fantastic stuff. Previously James' podcast about the theology of marxism was my favourite of his works, but this has supplanted it because he's even clearer about what the patterns and causes are.
I had the same experience. It's when you dig deep and hit bedrock, and you can't go any deeper. The rest from now on feels like it will all just be footnotes to flesh it out.
Honestly if this were coming from someone else I’d dismiss it, but James’ demonstrated ability to get to the bottom of things makes me think I ought to listen.
I'm of a very similar sentiment. And ill be honest, I find a lot of value and interest in gnosticism, but I despise the critical pedagogy and wokeness with white-hot fury. The ocean of this subject is now lapping at my door, and im caught in a moment of crucial consideration, challenging my own belief system. I don't want to buy it, but his conclusion is so well referenced and formatted that im sure he is right over the target.
Lindsay is a bit of a hack and there are obvious vested financial interests backing the "Conservative" side just as there is the "Liberal" one, as well a disingenuous nature to someone who is very secular like James sort of pretending to approve of the specific Religion of Christianity in order to garner support. That being said, he of course touches on some very real concerns. I WOULD HUMBLY SUGGEST that you go instead to Paul Vanderklay, John Vervaeke, and Jonathan Pageau (Jordan Peterson is too politicised recently so I would avoid him) and as for more ancient/philosophical topics, if you haven't already seen Michael Sugrue and Darren Staloff are having conversations again recently (they had their famous lectures in the 90's). By the way as for "Athens + Jerusalem" READ KIERKEGAARD or at least watch Sugrue's lectures on him, much less biased, provincial and slanted than this lecture.
And when I listen to Lindsay I obviously am very suspicious as the question is always there WHERE DOES HE GET HIS CANONICAL METHODOLOGY OR METRIC FROM? He clearly has an agenda; why should we presume that he isn't trying to deceive us as well? And why doesn't the Neo-Liberal Capitalist system have every incentive to deceive us? And furthermore why should we listen to an Atheist like Lindsay tell us about 'heresies'??? It's just incoherent. Regardless this lecture is very informative and useful and I do very much feel the way you do, it seems... although in recent times I try on a personal level to be very wary of Gnosticism.
@@Atamastra Yeah, conflating Gnosticism, which he seems to also conflate with any kind of mysticism, with wokeism is a very strange tack to take. Gnosticism is about the individual becoming one with the divine, like all mysticism, whereas wokeism denies the importance of the individual and puts all its focus on the social. In other words, they're complete opposite paradigms.
@zoot soot My roommate and I watched this in our own time and had an engrossing 2+ discussion on the subject, as we are both of a similar mindset in our (dare I say it) "spirituality". We came to a tacit conclusion that the idea of mystery schools might be an almost archetypal version of religion, like a seed crystal that builds itself out into cults and then religions/cultures over and over again. Because you could easily see Christianity as a gnostic mystery school that built off of Judaism, and perhaps Judaism was a proto-gnostic offshoot of Zoroastrianism, on and on, back and back. Maybe mystery schools/gnosticism are supposed to be exclusive and clandestine for a reason, but since we are humans, eventually these divine ideals leak out into the culture/society and essentially distort/corrupt them with different shades of mind controlling doctrine. Not because the Ideals are corrupt or bad, just very potent and dangerous when dissociated from the gnostic study (kinda like fire; very useful and powerful, but dangerous when it runs rampant). Does that make any sense?
Kinda surprising to me it's not. Also, looking through the channel's catalogue, they have a "part 1" from like a month ago with no "part 2" as of yet, which doesn't have my hopes up...
James really couldn't be doing more, any better in order to alert us of what's coming our way, as based on his prophetic clarity that comes from a searing intellect and a capacity to the the biggest themes . And explain them clearly and honestly to the rest of us. A cultural titan ,and any religious thinker has GOT to synthesise his rationality and dispassionate insights with a wildly radical and countercultural heart ,with courage and the Bible of Jesus and the Jews. James has outgrown his fellow heretics from academia , due mainly to his output and multidisciplinary scope. He is far more of a cultural threat to evil than just about anybody, certainly Peterson. God loves this guy, the cultural James Lovelock to me!
It starts with men of God saying no more to the Roman Catholic, children, boy molestors. We done it then, and now we do it again. These are the same Demons we dealt with through history. Nothing to fear ✝️🙏 Nothing new.
This man has a better understanding of all of this than anyone else I have ever listened to. Absolutism is probably the most dangerous mental state we can be in. It completely ignores nuance. Lower vibrational duality is the subjective prison of the mind (Plato's Cave). In order to be a perfect (human) person, you must have an objective understanding of your own pitiful subjectivity. Look at 'The Pillars of Jachin and Boaz'. They are the pillars of subjectivity. It's left versus right, up vs down, here vs there, now vs then, him vs her, black vs white, right vs wrong, democrat vs republican, capitalist vs communist, east vs west, 'good' vs 'evil'. Everything, including space and time, are relative to the observer. 'The truth' isn't as complicated as people think it is. In fact, it's right in front of you if you simply find a way to raise your vibrational awareness. 'Happiness' is just a word, and at face value it implies unhappiness. That which you believe in, is that which you lose. You lose 'domain' by simply believing in it. You lose the power of discernment when you subscribe to it. We're up against intense paradoxes. We're not comfortable with being hypocritical but we should be. We're a living paradox- we live because other things die. There's no way around this other than self destruction. Duality destroys linearity. It compartmentalizes reality, and boxes everything into categories, measurements, labels.. objects, and ideas, which all become symbols of something else. Representations of liberation, or destruction.
Thank you Dr. Lindsay. It is so important to be reminded of this, again and again if necessary. Perhaps you should write or talk more about how to spot wizards and followers of gnose, and also about how to tell if you're under the influence of those.
Excellent synopsis, in order to move forward we must first know where we are now. It would be possible and most likely to drag along parts of the swamp on our quest for sovereignty without this very critical information. Thank-You Dr. Lindsay
Brilliant! Thankyou. Nice reference to parseltongue! But I thought of Kaa The Snake in The Jungle Book film. He tries his "trust in meee" hypnosis on Shere Khan. It doesn't work. "I have no time for that sort of thing" and blats him. Favourite moment and quite apposite here. On youtube.
The problem with understanding the material, is the language they use and meanings of words keeps changing. When words can be interpreted in different ways, it confuses society, keeping their ideology cloaked in ambiguity.
That's by design. That's why the left is so obsessed with constantly changing the language and meaning of words. While we are arguing about definitions, they are running around us in circles inventing new words.
@@Snuusnuu69 I'm not sure what is the difference now (in your comment). I mainly meant my comment to be a joke, along the lines of their playing fast and loose with word definitions so as to obfuscate their true meaning. So they could be saying something, something else, anything, or nothing at all.
@@warnerchandler9826 Yeah, i was just stating that what is happening to our language is intentional. I don't find it funny though, its one of the reasons why discourse is becoming so challenging and confusing.

Well, kinda, since Bethel is initiating people into New Age. Hillsong, Jesus Culture, et al. Who were the others that you blanketed with “charismatic.” All of the “mystery’s” run into each other eventually. Are you familiar with Mike Winger here on TH-cam? He just posted a long expose of a bethel members book, that Bill Johnson wrote the introduction of and was an advisor for, that doesn’t even hide the fact that they are going into new age to bring out the good truths or something. Wicked stuff. The one world religion is on the horizon it seems.
Gnosis is not entirely at fault for this. Gnosis is gatekept by organized religion. It isn't a problem with the knowledge, it's a problem with the initiations. You have allowed the competitor to gain a foothold on the battlefield by not understanding that you cannot rule by fiat or by sword.
James Lindsay @ConceptualJames, is looking more & more like the atheist 'Prince of Paradox', the much needed G.K. Chesterton of this dangerously arrogant age. 💖🙏☺

This is a great point that undermines a lot of the core synthesis of this new "Conservative" movement and few are willing to take a step back and look at it critically (because somehow that word "critical" is a "dog whistle" for Marxism)
@@scythermantis I don't think it's a dog whistle for Marxism although I understand how it can seem that way for some. The way I see it is Western culture, because of Christian ideas and because it has reached a point so elevated, to be cultured is to critique one's own culture. We now look down upon a person or people who are too proud as they have not considered the downsides of their culture or considered how another culture might bring something to his own that is better. It's about not seeing the log in one's eye and only seeing the splinter in others. You get me? The issue now arises where this "humility" or pride in not being proud has been identified as a weapon wielded by those who wish to subvert the culture, namely Marxists, more rightly those who wish to deconstruct the individual (free will) and make it subserviant to group needs and ends. This isn't just the woke, but a plethora of groups ranging from outright Communist states to Islam. The new Conservative movement see this and know how it ends, totalitarianism so there is only one way to play it lest the culture dies, nativism, patriotism, christian theology and a few monarchy. All of that requires actually conserving and not progressing. Orthodoxy versus heterodoxy.
Jung could be classified as a wizard if he considers alchemists wizards. Jung was an alchemist of sorts after all. I mean look at Jung's idea of anima and animus. His idea of shadow integration. The polar duality of conscious and subconscious of ego and shadow. ALL of these concepts are hermetic principles.
One addendum: biblical faith has further definition than Heb 11:1- see Romans 10:17 “Faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the Word of God.” Faith IS believing the Words of God, and expecting them to accomplish what they claim. As such, both these definitions agree on humility and hope.
The book of Colossians explains this well. Epaphras went to Rome seeking Paul's help against the False Prophets infecting their church. It tells us how we need to gather togerher to fight the evil in the world.
One small nitpick: the metaphor of Chistendom, the city of Rome, springing from Athens, the city of philosophy, and Jerusalem, the city of faith, is much older than Ben Shapiro and did not originate from him. You are giving him undue credit.
Hermes in the Bible is also "Nebo". Hislop's book "The Two Babylons" gives many connections of Hermes to Babylon on which these three systems, Scientism, Gnosticism, and Hermeticism, can all be grouped under the umbrella of typological "Babylon"; but you need to read "The Two Babylons" to quickly locate all the connections. After you get those pieces, (there could be more), that belong under the umbrella of "Babylon", the Bible comments on Babylon's future fate such as in Jeremiah 50:9 For, lo, I will raise and cause to come up against Babylon an assembly of great nations from the north country: and they shall set themselves in array against her; from thence she shall be taken: their arrows shall be as of a mighty expert man; none shall return in vain. Might we see potential messages and instruction in the text; is "great nations" someone other, or some in our midst, and why not the spiritual array of some of the "expert man" as those who have located and revealed the tricksters and their sorceries?

I agree with a lot of the posits of Lindsay. However, "classical liberalism" is a concept that always sounds great in theory but as we have seen, has progressed and ended in woke leftism and purposeful destruction and a divisive mentality that is irrational and devoid of reason. Classical liberalism is always the seed that in full bloom becomes communism and the never reached utopian paradise on earth. Instead, liberalism is rife with false promises and lies like all paternalistic ideologies that make humans dependent on the state. Lindsay confuses the concepts of liberty and independence, and individual freedoms and responsibilities with liberalism which is devoid of reason and appeals to the covetous nature of humans. Classical liberalism is always the seed that in full bloom becomes communism and the never reached false promises and lies of paternalistic and authoritarian regimes.
I just got an ad before the video from the Hodge Twins they're giving away a jeep, but they're gonna get some shrimp and chicken first. 🤣🤣 Just thought I'd share the hilarity!
I luv Lindsays work but everyone watching this needs to ask themselves a very important question: If gnosis is the claim that we can know something with absolute certainty, then isn’t the claim “we can never know anything absolutely” a gnostic claim? Lindsay is affirming that which he denies by rejecting absolute knowledge, absolutely…. There is something absolute which we are not, its called the law of identity/causality. Existence is what it is regardless of what you think it is. Submit to this fact and DISCOVER absolute facts encoded in logic. You cannot defeat identity/causality but you can identify this fact and wield it with absolute certainty. THAT is the beginning of wisdom….
Dr. Lindsay, I certainly hope and pray that you are amongst those being assembled by Dr. Peterson in his implementation of a sensible realistic organization standing opposed to this societal infection. Contact him should you not yet be. He'll surely welcome you and your insights as invaluable!

Would love to see Lindsey do a deep dive on Lewis. Noticing everyone Lewis points out in "Abolition Of Man" were not random academics, but all members of the Bloomsbury Group who were in Lewis's academic and local community during his life. Might Lewis's "Inklings" have been a push back to that group? One of their leaders bragged they would destroy Western Civilization through literature. Another bragged that while being seen as criminals, in the future they would be seen as pilgrims. After reading Zygmund Dobbs' "Keynes At Harvard", one notable Bloomsbury member, John Maynard Keynes, might have been something other than the economist Hogwartz, oops I mean Academia, served him up as.
@@gilgamesh2832 Can you tell me which of these church fathers were not "Roman"? How do we find out outside of Lewis; and so many years later James Lindsay?
@@maintaint3003 If one takes a deep dive into the archetype of "wise men", part of God's design, finding they have been around since the beginning up to now, my question would be this; Were Lewis and Tolkien archetypal "wise men" who were aware of the mysteries and shared what they could in the the form of fiction, to send a message to other "wise men", or to those with eyes that could see and ears that could hear?
A wonderful disertation, but I think James missed one key point. We won't fighure out how to "break the frame" or how to "feed more red pills to people" without becoming the monster we detest. Faith in unity with reason means God creates the answer for us, not for us to come up with an answer of our own. God will indeed win, and those who are his will win by extension. Winning won't change the fact that this planet and 2/3 of it's inhabitants will take the road to perdition. Jesus IS salvation, then just wait and watch as all the rest just goes away. Not with a bang, but with a whimper. Then Eden returns. God will reverse the curse, not us.
The only thing I don't get is why James represents faith in a Liberal sense, that would be more in the Reason camp, faith in a religious "abrahamic" sense is monarchical. But his work on this topic is great overall.
That stuck out for me as well. What I glean from it is both faith and reason must work together to become a liberal force and only in the hands of the individual......that is where faith is a liberal force because it tempers emotions, promotes reason or critical thought and frees humans from hubris
@@enshrinehd the thing is that both are not in the same level of priority. In a Liberal system, reason leads to faith, because the individual has the choice to the faith he likes. In a religious system the faith leads your reason, and what's reasonable is in context of the faith. They're not at the same level either way.

Nor am I a fan of believing that God is a narcissistic, vengeful, vain being in the sky who orders killing of innocent people such as children, r*ping of women, human sacrifices, and hierarchies of man (such is found in the Catholic Church). All of which are actions of the God in the old testament, and is clearly different than what Jesus was teaching. You know what else can be corrupted (and what it appears was), Jesus's message, religions, old books written by men and edited by men and translated multiple times by men. Should use that weird ugly liberal animation art style to do it too. You know the one.
I watched "Things to Come" from H. G. Wells in the late 1930s. It is amazing how the ideas being explained here are openly taught through that film.
And yet those generations did nothing to stem it. Did nothing except drink the milk shake with a straw reaching into our future. I'm glad most of them are getting cremated.
HG Wells was a member of the Fabian Society and a futurist, meaning he was paid to write stories into which he inserted technocratic themes
The very first movie ever put onto the silver screen, Metropolis, is all about this exact same idea as well.
You can argue we live in a brave new world prequel too.

All right, James Lindsay
And when I listen to Lindsay I obviously am very suspicious as the question is always there
WHERE DOES HE GET HIS CANONICAL METHODOLOGY OR METRIC FROM?
I can't wait to see Lindsay's 3rd talk from that conference. Checking daily to see if it's uploaded.

Hook, line and sinker man.

The problem with understanding the material, is the language they use and meanings of words keeps changing. When words can be interpreted in different ways, it confuses society, keeping their ideology cloaked in ambiguity.

I wonder if Mr Lindsey considers Jordan Peterson's evolutionary psychological/Jungian approach to Scripture as gnosis and classify him as a wizard?

The evoPsych on religion has solid theory and findings though, idk where he stands on that. He's not anti-religion he's anti-fundamentalist/-totalitarian

I luv Lindsays work but everyone watching this needs to ask themselves a very important question:
If gnosis is the claim that we can know something with absolute certainty, then isn’t the claim “we can never know anything absolutely” a gnostic claim?
Lindsay is affirming that which he denies by rejecting absolute knowledge, absolutely….
There is something absolute which we are not, its called the law of identity/causality. Existence is what it is regardless of what you think it is. Submit to this fact and DISCOVER absolute facts encoded in logic.
You cannot defeat identity/causality but you can identify this fact and wield it with absolute certainty. THAT is the beginning of wisdom….
Utterly brilliant.
Dr. Lindsay, I certainly hope and pray that you are amongst those being assembled by Dr. Peterson in his implementation of a sensible realistic organization standing opposed to this societal infection. Contact him should you not yet be. He'll surely welcome you and your insights as invaluable!
I bet the two of them have been in contact. I sure hope so.
Shabbos goy to the max, blame gnostics and not Jews. Very cool larper.
Where's the Wokal Distance lecture?
And in the latter time of their kingdom, when the transgressors are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up. And his power shall be mighty, but not by his own power: and he shall destroy wonderfully, and shall prosper, and practise, and shall destroy the mighty and the holy people. Daniel 8:23-24
After twenty years of solitary work, this is great. I think, they know that I know, and now I know they know I know, and I know they're terrified. As they should be. If you walked those twenty years in my shoes, you would be gloating too. "We've got to gatekeep this" well best of luck to you. You will have your work cut out, I guess. Wisdom is known to her children.
he is amazing brilliant.
C.S.Lewis, the author of Mere Christianity, described himself as a Christian platonist.
The majority of the Church fathers studied Plato, and undeniably influenced by him. Pointing to Lewis means nothing.
Tolkien was super religious also. His One Ring is the opposite of the christian cross in form, utility and meaning.
@@gilgamesh2832 Can you tell me which of these church fathers were not "Roman"? If Lewis was the only one ratting out the cult that all these dupes think the researchers are just "imagining", how else do those with ears that hear and eyes that see, outside of having the misfortune of bumping into them accidently, find out the strange goings on is organized and intentional? How do we find out outside of Lewis; and so many years later James Lindsay?
@@maintaint3003 If one takes a deep dive into the archetype of "wise men", part of God's design, finding they have been around since the beginning up to now, my question would be this; Were Lewis and Tolkien archetypal "wise men" who were aware of the mysteries and shared what they could in the the form of fiction, to send a message to other "wise men", or to those with eyes that could see and ears that could hear?
James should do a discussion tour together with Jordan Peterson.
The "Shabbas Goys" they could start a band if they could play an instrument like a real human being.
1000% this would be monumental. The two need to talk about theses topics. It has to happen.
Excellent
Very helpful
Have you considered mirroring these to another site incase TH-cam zaps you for “talking about things that make us look bad”?

That is also Ibram X Kendi’s position
What did you mean by (I rearranged the words slightly, thinking you intended to say:)
"Faith in an Abrahamic religious sense is monarchical?"
@@warnerchandler9826 God is a king, the King of kings; the spiritual world is described as a monarchical system, with vice-regents, counselors, messengers, servants, etc; and the Imago Dei is a royal image foundamentally. Democracy and rule by the masses falls in the chaotic and demonic from the metaphysical view of the Scriptures. The book of Judges is an exploration of what happens when a people don't have a King, you end in Sodom and Gomorrah, is an awesome but gruesome book.
@@warnerchandler9826 plus the liberal Enlightment view of democracy comes from the French Revolution and English Puritans, both movements killed kings and hated the monarchy (with some reason, not all monarchs are good). Then the other strand were the more deist and agnostic type that were mostñy aristocrats that wanted to depose the old elite to found new nations as the new elite.
33:12 I'm pretty sure Christianity also tells you to do this very thing while substituting community for God. Tell of one individual over another or even yourself is to show partiality which God does not and we are supposed to crucify ourselves in the flesh so that he may live through us
For those who are familiar with the franchise, the philosophies (religion), beliefs, and specifically the activism of the left brings to mind the Borg in Star Trek.
Religion and cult are the same thing, the only difference is the size and influence of the religion or cult.
The word cult is used by the authorities of religion to scare there followers
A recognized authority you are.
@@warnerchandler9826 Do eye have to be or am eye not qualified to speak what eye have observed and eye see no difference between a religion and a cult or a mob and a herd.
The word Gnosis is Greek for "knowledge", so you are saying that Knowledge is wrong? I dont agree with, nor am I a marxist. Actually I am highly against Marxism, but I am also not for monarchy. Christians but all their faith in, not God, but Men they never met who held positions of power in society hundreds of years ago. Thats who you are really trusting, but no one wants to believe that they could possibly be the one who was misled. Even though Jesus told you "Everything I can do, you can do and more" "Ye are gods", you still won't believe him, but believe men who wanted power hundreds of years ago. I cant make you wake up, but when you are suppose to, you will. I pray that it occurs sooner than later. God is not that guy, God is pure love, a love that cant be explained, only experienced.
I'm doing a victory lap this morning, woke up and remembered the phrase "the Secret Sauce of the West" (trademark). Classy. I'm gonna go get a beer
