Something that becomes apparent once you start doing makeup a lot is that it’s truly a marriage of technical knowledge and practical experience. You can watch a thousand makeup tutorials and employ those skills but there will always be a point where u look at urself in the mirror and r like,,, what am I doing ? And that’s when the experience comes in.

I think this video just proves that no matter how many times you watch someone do their makeup, it's so much harder than you imagined to do it on your own, especially for the very first time. I think a lot of people think makeup is easy, and then they try to do it themselves. Makeup is truly art
